February 13Feb 13 Author Still think it was a pen. He challenged a player in possession of the ball, did not make contact with the ball an did with player who had possession of the ball.Mute point as is done now. Did not need to go in for that risky of a challange.

March 13Mar 13 Author His thread being so inactive indicates he has not been at his match winning levels for some times.I mean I guess we have not been winning much of late either.Since that arsenal red he has not seemed the same.
March 16Mar 16 Booked at the weekend for winning the ball. He gets refereed differently to other players.
March 16Mar 16 Barely got out of a jog agaisnt newcastle. He's been poor for months. Looks like he was no energy in his legs. Now we have Santos and Lavia and Essugo all back to varying degrees, he needs a rest.

There is only so many fires he can put out.

Not even remotely close to dissing the club. The reality of every single thing life is that you never know. What a typical load of horsesh*t from baiting lazy journos. Tom Coley another mindless twat stealing a living
April 4Apr 4 More words of player ambition... and its the issue with our recruitment strategy. Players want to win, be at the biggest and best clubs and we're not the biggest or best club anymore. the wheels have com off. I dont doubt our best players, in a world cup year, are all angling for better contracts or clubs that match their ambition. Not sure we can match their ambition. So we are a developing/ selling club.

Winning bugger all and not even getting top wagesI don't disagree that players are pissed off, but when you have got Spanish speaking players being interviewed in Spain about where they would prefer to live, who is really surprised that they would like living in Madrid one day but who knows. These are taking fairly non committal comments being made by players when they are in the spotlight and just making headlines out of it. Cucurella was a simple, yes one day, on the basis hell be pushing 30 then and if he can finish his career where he started good luck to him. Caicedo now is just pure baiting for headlines. Talksport no doubtvare already lining up a special with Simon Jordan, Danny Murphy and a tumescent Jim fking White. Much as I am sure that Fernandez is pissed off and just wants to win things, he has had a long list of sh*t joke managers here to work with and a boardroom of mindless twats, but it is only when he is staring down the barrel of a pay cut under the terms of a contract that his very handsomely paid agent got him to sign, that he suddenly wants to pipe up. The rest for me is pure press baiting. Same with Palmer on the Manchester thing. Next it will be Estevao is homesick and doesn't want to be here

The players are waking up to the fact theyve been sold a dud project. For us mortals its like buying a home offplan and watching the foundations getting flooded out and not setting before construction starts on the walls, the wonky finish will see the roof fall in as people sleep.

My point is that the current bo**ocks we are seeing is purely media driven. Cucurella already renegotiated his contract in the summer. The players generally are making non committal comments to the press that are then being used. They are not idiots, they know the press are w**kers. I dont have a problem with it as i want the fckers gone as well. At most I think their agents will be trying to ensure they can gain some leverage on the possible salary hits.If it is as real as the press are dressing it up then it wouldn't be the first time. Hazard was twerking his arse to Madrid every international break and he's one of our greatest players.

Same for Didier when he was looking outside the club, or at least his agent was, when we were always trying to replace him, whether it be Sheva, or Torres.

TBH, not sure its a bad thing, perhaps some do need to go in order, especially if LR remains in charge, to get others in for his brand of football. Caicedo is probably world class, I think we all see he can be an elite talent, not sure if that will be with us... why? In terms of timelines, im back to feeling like i did in the mid 90's - hoping that we can challenge for cups and honours and keep our best players. Next we'll be signing United cast off's like Harry McGuire a la Mark Hughes era... (he would definietly improve us as well) Imagine if Madrid came for fofana to replace Rudiger and we could get him back on the cheap. I think this is the sort of player we'll attract in the summer and going forward if we dont maintain top 4 and a cup run.
April 13Apr 13 Caicedo has been poor recently. I don't know whether he is coasting a bit with one eye on the World Cup, or perhaps he is fed up with the project. But he hasn't been right in a while. I won't be surprised if he is one of several players who puts in a transfer request at the end of the season.
