Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"

He's better when he shows for the ball. Many are trying to put the blame on Silva, but Silva was on the pitch when we equalised and there's nothing he can do when Caicedo is hiding.

he is all alone, man... pochetino seem not to have learn the Vila lesson: play enzo closer to moises

There's a massive space he's moving into, far more than he was ever given with Brighton. The ball doesn't come, and there are no team mates making themselves available, should he get the ball. The simple fact is Brighton are much better coached than we are.

Absolute sh*te refreeing and no VAR. The latter we Chelsea fans should never count on doing right by us though.

During the game they showed this from several another angles as well. Eduoard is nowhere near the ball and plants his knee into Caicedo's thigh. Freekick 10/10 times.

He clearly gets the ball, kicks our man's foot on the follow through. As the saying has it, you see them given. Lottery time.

You think the second tackle he clearly gets the ball, hes nowhere near it. Thats 100% a foul, I cant see how anyone can think anything else.

I was talking about the first tackle. The second? Maybe problematic at best. You see the same thing every week.

You do, and its almost always given as a foul, considering there was zero contact with the ball and full contact with the player. I honestly have no idea how you can think thats not a foul.

I say it is rather impressive how he continues to avoid getting sent off.

He certainly walks a fine line.  If you ever look back at his Brighton days you could quickly see how many of his tackles came from the side or behind, largely on the ground, nicking the ball away.  Chelsea players do not get away with as many of those.

Saying that, I think he's becoming more and more influential to this team.  You'd expect that with his price tag, but many positives to build on.

Need Lavia fit because Caicedo’s a walking red card at the minute. Needs adequate cover for when he gets his early yellow.

he could easily have been sent off again today and giving away needless free kicks every single game is a really bad trait, he is sooo sloppy, it's going to cost us and it's easy to fix,the manager should school him quickly

He is and always has been an aggresive risk taking tackler, that is why he was so widely admired, and ultimately so expensive. It is to his credit that despite several early yellow cards, he can still be effectual, without drawing the second yellow. Inevitabley there will be times where a second does come, but without his style of play you would lose far too much of his capabilities.
