So it sounds like we are waiting for Liverpool to bid first and then we'll decide if we want to match it and proceed.

That's probably more than 100 in todays market, they have no problem paying big if they think the player is worth it.

Exactly, just because they don't think Lavia is worth £50m it doesn't mean they don't have more than £50m to spend.

It was well documented they was prepared to pay big money to buy Levi Colwill, Klopp even spoke to him apparently, so anyone thinking Liverpool have only got around £45m in their coffers could be in for a big shock in the next 24 hours.

If Liverpool buy Caicedo it'll be more than likely instead of Lavia, and if we buy Lavia it would be instead of Caicedo more than likely.

IMO Caicedo is streets ahead of Lavia.
