There seems to be an overwhelming level of confidence from the club's side. 

They know Liverpool can't outbid us for Caicedo (and the fact the player wants to join us) and Lavia seems like another player we could wrap up as well. 

We made a bid for Levia, now all the sudden Liverpool is outbidding us for Caicedo. Funnily enough, it's not accepted either, so what's next? We bid more until we get to Brighton's evaluation.

We land Caicedo and Liverpool land Lavia. That is the end result. Both pay more than wanted.

on this transfer it's been a bit tedious but I think overall they've done a great job bringing in players.

Liverpool have NOT placed an offer for Moises Caicedo. Lot of Caicedo-Lavia games going on. #LFC have always indicated they like Caicedo, but not his price tag. That's why they didn't bid in January either. Nothing formal tabled to date as far as I understand.🇪🇨

How have we not wrapped this up by now. Spent £20m on Sanchez as 2nd GK and about 40-50m on young Brazilians for the second club in France, yet can't go an extra £15-20 for Caicedo. As much as I'm sure we will get him, it's taken so long until the start of the season to get it over the line. Brighton have been fixed on what they want, so it's come as no surprise. God the transfer window is bloody tedious.

The inside word from CFC is that there has been no offer from Liverpool (at least as far as Chelsea know) - we are in a bidding war with nobody.

We are not in a bidding war.  We are signing Adams and we should sign Lavia. Then we should wait for next summer and sign Moises Caicedo and use our 50% OFF coupon.

Lol... nobody has a clue including Matt Law. So we are to believe that Liverpool who were unwilling to pay Caicedo's price tag since the beginning have suddenly put in a 80+ mill bid for him while unwilling to pay the extra 5 mill to sign their first choice Lavia.

I'm sure a bid of £100 million will settle the matter.

I don't think he's worth it though, but we are acting like a spurned lover, forever going down on one knee begging for just one more chance, "I'll offer more next time, promise, cross my heart"

That’s not exactly true per Brighton we are in a bidding war with Brightons made up bidders😂

If we sign him, he'll just get injured anyway.

If we give them £100 Million on top of what we paid for Cucurrela and paid for Potter and his team, they might as well have " sponsored by CFC " across the front of their shirts,.
