Went for Kepa last time, this time I am going for Chalobah. I think since he has come back in, he has been really good and tonight he was good again.

Disagree. Broja is a lot stronger on the ball and has a better touch than Werner. Werner wouldn't have even troubled Brentford tonight. The only thing against him was that he took too long to get a shot away a few times.

I’m not saying Werner would’ve done better, we will never know, but, I do know if that was Werner holding onto the ball too long and falling over it, it would be a sh*tfest in match chat for a week!

Kepa MOTM again no contest. But IMO Chalobah, Broja, Pulisic and Chucky all did well too.

Trev, close call between him and Kepa but he handled Toney really well and lead with experience well beyond his years.

Best compliment I can give him, we did not miss Silva.

Kepa, for another clean sheet. Fair play to him.

Easy, Kepa two games in a row, that's got be worrying for Potter !

Broja was lively, but still raw and he really messed up not squaring that chance to Mount.
Pulisic was good when he came on.

Pretty much what I was going to say but I'll give MOTM to the much maligned Pulicic. So refreshing to see one of our players take on opponents and beat them. Has been a rare site.

Good cameo from Carney too.

We ALWAYS miss Silva when he's not playing!

We somehow kept another clean sheet last night but that was more down to luck than management. At times the defence was all over the place and we can count ourselves lucky, Toney looked a little out of sorts last night.

Let's be fair here, we had Silva when Villa cut us to ribbons in that first half.
