I like that we're apparently going for Argentinian talents like MacAllister and Martinez, as much as the focus of the World Cup was on Messi Argentina have an extremely good squad across the board. Would make a nice core for the team.

Reminds me of the De Bruyne, Hazard, and Courtois generation of Belgium when they were one of the best teams in the world.

And it's a country we haven't tried yet LOL

We've done Portugal, Brazil, Belgium, Spain, France ... might as well give Argentina a go as the latest flavour of the month !

you mean both Martinez guys, Lisandro and Emiliano. we despeartely need a new keeper and it all starts and ends from that.

I think you mean Lautaro  ? Unless you are advocating a swoop for the midget at the heart of the Man United defence LOL

Interesting thread here by Ben Jacobs:

So if potter wasn't the first option why did they give him such a huge contract? Makes no sense.

Or maybe his contract was barely worth the ink on it. Lots of stories that we aren't paying out the full amount.

Matt Law said that they were always keen on Potter from the start (even though it was misguided). He also said that the current squad is actually In a better place Pochettino now than before.

Cups.

Good idea. I suppose it ultimately depends on what Thiago wants to do but having his class and experience around the youth of Badiashiele, Fofana, Colwill and Chalobah even at Cobbity has to be a good thing.

According to one of the tabloids, Thiago's wife says he will be at Chelsea next season. Mrs Silva isn't afraid of an opinion.
