The whole Wolves gameplan is to attack silva.

Most team try to put their winger high and wide to pin opp fb. Wolves didn't do that, they dragged Chilwell deep and just launch long ball behind again and again.

Normally this strategy never work because usually CB has head start but what happen if your CB is super slow and refuse to defend wide.

😁😁😁

Well, I stand corrected and if Poch dropped Silva and we played any faster centre back we’d be right up in the mix with Arsenal, Liverpool and City. I guess Silva must have kidnapped Poch’s mum.

He might not have pace and Wolves might have identified that, but he’s ten times the professional that the other 10 ponces around him are. And Poch it seems couldn’t identify his own reflection.

Last season was awful but at the time there was a degree of hope that things would look better this season with a new manager and a chance for the new signings to settle. I don't think many will fall for that again.

Many will. They’ll still believe that it’s just because they’re young and inexperienced.

I respectfully disagree that any manager would improve them.

We are now on four managers in 2 seasons, some different players but not enough for me to believe a change is the only solution.

I’m sure there would be a bounce if someone new comes in, but the team is not good enough.

It all started with a wrong move though. You dont sack the manager who just won a Champions League for you with en existing squad that did not even needed to splash billions 😭

I just saw Caicedo's reaction when substituted.  Finally some passion, although probably broke his hand and will be out for 3 months.

Was a great pass for the first goal maybe he should be playing up field and Enzo staying back

They should play together but yes Enzo behind Caicedo leaving Caicedo free to run with the ball occasionally, although when he does at least one full back has to be infield to cover, with a fast centre back to prevent the long ball down the wing.

1st goal

Dumb mistake by Caicedo. Lucky bounce.

2nd goal

Chilwell take semedo. Silva picked neto. Basic defending.

You fully expect silva to engange neto here yet

Screenshot_20240205_091230_YouTube.thumb.jpg.b8222d57a96c96bba224e4044dbeee79.jpg

Neto can dribble in to the box freely

🫣🫣🫣

3rd goal.

That is neto free in the box to make cut back, completely free. Silva need to foul, hug do whatever to slow done neto.

4th goal

Dumb2 gusto but it looks like he had reached his minute restriction.

Wolves did nothing the whole game. Their whole game plan was to get into 2nd and 3rd goal situation. They tried it again and again.

Imo what poch should do is to match Wolves 343 with 343. Pay Alfie as rcb for Conor or Caicedo. Does this mean big bad Chelsea need to play completely new system in home game vs Wolves? Yes. 😂😂😂

VS Wolves at home? Yes.

If you bought Mbappe, it is only his dumb mistakes you will be looking for. Gallagher is a top player, but when you lose, you blame it on Enzo, Madueke, Mudryk and Caicedo.

No manager sorts this lot out.

We took a huge gamble on big money players who are essentially duds.

No character or any spine of leaders in the team to drive lads on when the game is going against you or even to up the ante when required.

Sacking Pochettino might placate some, but it will do nothing to solve the poor attitude and quality of players we have.

Long way back for us I’m afraid.

KTBFFH

Twelve dumb people love your post. This generation is doing everything they can to protect a poor manager; Pochetino, protect dumb players like Gallagher and fight the good players they have like Enzo, Caicedo, Mudryk and Madueke.

They say buying good players is a gamble. They say the team does not have a leader yet they don't play the likes of Madueke and Mudryk because they want to play Sterling and Gallagher, I thought Sterling and Gallagher were intended to be the leaders on the pitch? They can't do it, and we say bench them, Chelsea fans will say don't bench Sterling and Gallagher.

Yet Chelsea keeps losing, and you ask yourself, what do Chelsea fans want, do they want the team to keep losing? You don't want to play the players that will make you win, you are playing players that will make you lose.

Nkunku can strike, we can play real "attackers" like Mudryk, Madueke and Palmer behind him, and play Enzo and Caicedo. But they don't want this.

They never want to hear that we should sack a bad manager, when did this start. Mourinho called Wenger a specialist in failure back then, but it is Chelsea fans today that are specialists in failure.

And when the fans don't want the team to succeed, how can I continue to support that team?

There are a lot of generalisations and assumptions in your post, but no plan B. We "can" dot his, we "can" do that, but what do you actually propose? And apart from the occasional d**khead, how can you even say "the fans" don't want the team to succeed? If "the fans" actually don't want us to be successful, then there would be a lot of contented posts here, wouldn't there. Yet all I read is frustration, anger, and fear for the future. Specialists in failure, you gotta be kidding me.

We can hire any manager but It depend on what the board want.

If the board want to win now then we need to go back to 343. It means that you give double middle finger to Madueke n Mudryk.

This is what TT did, we had 8 attackers back then and he played 343.

Roman was all about winning so he didn't mind, our current owner goal is very different.

What do you mean by plan B? Use the right plan A, let the players get use to the plan, our players do not understand themselves. Let them play a system, develop in the system, keep training the system, that is how you do well in a system.

We don't have a starting eleven, that is not a good team, the players don't play together, how will they understand themselves. The team should play together, that will make them strong.

This is your problem, you are always asking for something different. If the team is winning, you still want to change the team. A team is doing badly, I'm proposing the right thing we should do, instead of allowing us to do these right things, and let the team remain like that, you are already thinking that when the team starts doing well, what is our plan B?

Let the team starts doing well first. Let them continue that way, don't change them, if a system is working, don't change the system. Some people know the right system that should work for this team, they just want to use another system. That is why I say so many Chelsea fans are dumb, and I say they are specialists in failure.

You just want to be using another system just because you want to change the right system, you call it plan B, when you know the system that should work.

When we won the league under Mourinho and Ancelloti, we used a single system.

Under Conte, we were using a system, it wasn't working after three matches because of the kind of players we had at that time, we changed to another system and stuck with it for the whole season, and we won the league. Even though Conte changed his system, he didn't change his best players, he kept using his best players, that was why he won.

Fans today want the manager to keep changing his best players every match, they call it plan B, you can't win like that. A manager can change his formation, but he must not change his best players, he cannot win like that.

2 own goals?

Yikes our defenders still have not recovered from training against only Broja!

Best get to work on that Poch.

Midfield of Gallagher, Caicedo and Enzo and we concede 8 goals in 2 games, and are lucky, at least in the first one, is not double figures.

Poch is not the one to get to work on that. He doesn't know what he is doing. Nkunku can strike, why not play him as the striker?

Palmer can be the AM, Madueke and Mudryk on the wings, and Enzo and Caicedo defensive midfield pairing, these are all decent players.

I'd like to revist this game, after we have seen what our team motivated can actually do at Villa, and seen what Wolves are really like both before our game vs them (bottling it late vs United) and since then (Home loss to lowly Brentford without scoring a goal).

Basically our lads gave up, showed no fight the second thar first deflected goal went in, and let a average/poor side with a rookie manager pull our pants down and make a mockery of us.

Now we have seen what they can truly do vs Villa there is no excuse for sh*t displays like this, other than the odd one that everyone bar City and Pool get, anymore.

No excuses for losing yo dross like West Ham, Forest, Brentford, Wolves etc etc. They play with determination and professionalism and they win these type of games 9 out of 10.

We'd better start seeing Villa like performances often, starting with Palace, otherwise our wonderful fans need to add to the Roman, F Todd sad Clearlake, sacked in the morning, chants ones aimed at the players too.
