No wonder people get upset with the price and value of Sky Sports subscriptions.

This season has the feel of the Leicester title-winning season to me. No really outstanding side, and a points total in the low 80s to take the title, with perhaps low 70s good enough for 2nd.

 

We'll have to see what happens with Liverpool, but I think ultimately they will come back into the pack. Imagine they will go on to complete the win today. Was half hoping Southampton might find a result, and then City get back on track next week, and then the whole table tightens right up.

That non penalty for saints is outrageous, made even worse he gave Liverpool a free kick.

Lucky for pool they were gifted Southampton, as we were gifted Leicester.

I wonder if those that keep saying Maresca is getting lucky teams are “gifting us goals” will say anything about Liverpool today.

He's looked like that for a while to be fair.

I think Southampton concluded he wasn't good enough for the top flight about six years ago, but can't quite seem to fully shift him... like herpes. Basically the reincarnation of Kelvin Davis.

Southampton are hopeless. They have gifted Liverpool all 3 of their goals.

Saints have collapsed like a proper relegation fodder. 

Lesly also wandering around all match. No direction or instruction. Another failed loan. When will we learn.

Aside from our win a rubbish weekend.

And in a double whammy for Southampton, Steve Cooper has just been sacked.

This isn't sustainable for Liverpool. Been watching them a lot this season and they have been incredibly fortunate with some results masking over awful performances. A lot of their experienced heads have been bailing them out. In all honesty a better reflection would them being only a couple points ahead of City. 

This reminds me of a Conte esq season from them. They'll pick up the wins but the following season is where the true test begins.
