We made a big mistake going for Maresca, that brand of football is done. PSG and Barcelona have basically set up the next evolution of football. Pep ball is dead.

Nail on the head.

No team has won a European Cup final by 5 goals. History might be made tonight.

That should have been it right there. Fabulous from Barcola right up to the finish that he dragged wide !

Him and Doue certainly put our wingers into the right perspective LOL. Upgrades required !

What an outstanding performance.

I know it's prissy of me, but in my mind I am now a fly on the wall of our boardroom as Enrique exits the building and climbs into the back of a cab.

"Nice guy, but, nah, I am just not feeling him for Chelsea"

"I agree Todd. I mean what was with the presentation and the file full of stats, like he knows how a club like us should be run"

"Let's see that Lie-sester manager Maracca instead"

Just toying with them.

So there's the answer as to whether an 18 year old can be ready for the first team.

But take into account that every player around the man with the ball is still moving, still pressing, still looking to pass forwards.

PSG have shown where football is heading for the next decade, and Inter have shown just how far behind Italian football is today. Inter have been the underdogs all tournament and played the game of their lives against Barcelona to reach the final, and Barcelona were a bit naive in how they defended, but they came up against a totally different level today. PSG played the perfect game, nobody would have beaten them.

I quite hope we play them at the Club World Cup so we can see how far behind we are 😀

Incredible isn't it ... no let up at all

I'm actually really pleased that they have done it. Proving that you can play high tempo, pro active football that is entertaining. Controlling games doesn't have to be defenders passing it to each other at walking pace 70 yards from their goal.

We fumbled Luis Enrique so bad. God the pain of it. Just look at the football PSG are playing.

Indeed. That wasn't even a match really. It was total annihilation.

It's really a very close result...
