Wirtz to Liverpool for €130m.

Wonder how much the media will play the most expansive transfer card like they did so gleefully for Caicedo in hopes he failed.

If Klopp was dead he'd be turning in his grave!

Wasn’t it Villa that was saved by a goal that should’ve stood which would’ve relegated them?

West Ham. One of the hosts of my favourite podcast is West Ham & he talks about this quite often. He’s got nephews that are Sheffield United so every time they’re slightly aggrieved with something he just responds along the lines of, even though he knows it’s not funny anymore, ‘why don’t you sue them?’.

The other host is. Sunderland fan so they were delighted with the play off result!

I think Liverpool might be better at transfers than we are

Bidding £109m for Wirtz. We'll see.

So who are we rooting for in the final tonight?

I have a soft spot for both Milan teams. AC from way back. The Guillit, Van Basten, Baresi, Maldini, Rijkaard side were one of the all-time great football teams. Inter I developed an interest in them when Jose took them to the stars, even though I couldn't stand Materazzi for his non-stop sh*thousery. IMO Mourinho schooled Ancelotti tactically and motivationally, particularly in the 2nd leg, when we played them in 2009.

But I really admire Luis Enrique. Think he has proven to be an excellent, charismatic, inventive manager. And I have really enjoyed how PSG have played in the competition.

I haven't seen a single CL match this season! So it's pure PSG antipathy that makes me want Inter to win it.

Now...will I bother to watch the match or continue to watch The Hunt for Red October for the 20th time 🤔 ?

Well, you need to start taking an interest in it again. We are in it next year Val.

f**k knows how, but we are!

Surely they didn’t roll out the pitch covering, the stage and all the amps and monitors for one song front Linkin Park. Surely they must be doing more after. Please dear God don't take us down the road of 30 minute half times.

It was weird, they played about 40 seconds!

Shame, cos it was great as well, imo

I would rather have spent the last half an hour or so listening to them than having to listen to the mindless oaf Gerrard.

Not so sure I want Inter to win anymore now I've seen their horrible away kit. Nike, what else.

Superb. An excellent stereotype early doors. An Italian goes down clutching his face after 2 minutes and 40 seconds. If a French player wearing a hairband rolls down his socks, this could be a classic.
