Couldn’t care less as there’s nothing they can say that we haven’t already done.

United would have been a real threat next season with CL appeal, could attract the likes of Gyokores, etc

He wouldn't have signed for them. They have also been in the Champions League often in recent times and done nothing. Like I said in the other thread, United's problems run much deeper than just having a poor football side.

And long may it continue

I've been wondering whether Sir Jim Ratcliffe is worse at business than Spurs are at football, and now I have my answer.

Imagine being so terrible at running an organisation that you get out-Spursed by f**king Spurs.

Plus somehow being worse than BlueCo is quite the achievement.

He’s more likely to have joined them than he would have Spurs is my point.

The money alone United would have got from CL would have made their rebuild a lot quicker going into next season. Now it’s going to take far, far longer unless Amorim can pull off some great deals on the cheap. For Spurs it doesn't really change anything, no big player is going to join them and Levy wouldn’t spend big money anyway.

I can’t picture any logical scenario where United winning is a good thing.

What a poor game of football that was. Don't get the pain about Spurs winning. Honestly couldn't give a toss that Spurs have won the Europa. Of course if it was CL, that would be a different matter but I perversely look forward to seeing them get battered in the CL next season.

When you see how far the once mighty have fallen (Man Utd), it is concerning. I thought we were bad but they really do look a lost cause and only look to be heading one way. That could easily be us in the future. It's time they stopped handing out such ridiculous contracts to very average footballers.

Fairly sure this guy is one of those internet people and therefore not credible, but I very much hope this is true:

Would be great, but if it were the case, I'm sure Radcliffe wouldn't have allowed Mount to play!

Won't matter as Squad Cost Ratio will be the basis of the new rules from 26/27. It massively favours high-revenue clubs (which Utd, somehow, still are).

Can you explain the change? What could this mean for 25/26 too?

It benefits Spurs far more, it's almost like Levy predicted this has he's been setting up Spurs to benefit from the SCR changes for some time now.

Yes... let's hope our own "top" management will take note and not make the same silly mistakes.

Then again perhaps it's too late, as I was only reading this morning it will take time for the players to adapt to Amorim's new system and some of the squad are not suited to it anyway so will need to be offloaded 😁

You see their behavior in the dressing room after the final? The social media posts about being in the Champions League despite being a relegation side?

Yeah. No one should be worried about them.

To be fair, that's the way things are these days. CL qualification is the holy grail. On Sunday, 3 of us, Villa, Newcastle and Forest will celebrate finishing between 3rd and 5th like we've won the league.

United and Spurs have completely given up on the league once they've realized there was a chance to qualify via Europa.

The PL is now just a means to get that CL money. I think with this mentality we'll eventually end up with a Super League.

Not really, usually top team need only 2/3 players and they are back in title contention but this united team need a lot more than that.

They really are shocking right now.

But I can't help keep comparing their situation to ours. Ours is not as bad, but we keep looking back at times are squad was so much better, under Jose, Carlo and even Conte, just as United fans are comparing now to Fergie era.

Disagree. The defence and midfield is fine for another season.

All they need right now are attackers and a GK, maybe another wing back if they have money to spare afterwards, expensive positions that would have been easier to get with the CL windfall.
