Love how Liverpool can effortlessly find attackers that are both hard working & productive whereas we struggle to find attackers that can fit just one of those criteria.

We create chances...the difference is, they finish theirs, whereas our lot fluff their lines time and time again.  Based on the easy chances we've had over the last 4 games had we had taken them we'd still be in 2nd at the very least instead of a disappointing 2 points from 12 😏

Liverpool have annoyingly always been able to sign good attackers. We seem to struggle

They do we have had some decent attacking players; But its also their style of play, they play fast paced football from front to back not giving the opposition much chance to set up, giving their attackers every chance to take advantage, whereas we are ponderous sloths hoping we create something.

Why is the ref being sent to the monitor, FFS how many have we seen like that this weekend and no pen given...ah but this is Liverpool, so they get given the pen...why are we shocked.

True. Liverpool haven't been suckered like everyone else into ponderous building up from the back. It's f**king exciting football and great to eatch

Bored now....Liverpool the most luckiest side in the EPL and the one the ref and the pundits love for them to win...just give them the title FFS and stop embarrassing yourselves by making it so f**king obvious what's going on.   No doubt Arsenal will get an apology along with West Ham this weekend..

Let's face it, Liverpool are running away with the league because they are a very good side, not because of any conspiracy .

To be honest I've given up keeping track of the yearly idiosyncratic changes to the handball rule (@dkw might be able to help us out) but from a 'common sense' perspective that looked like a clear penalty. De Ligt was waving his arms around like an Italian making a point of order.

So true. Everyone is ‘trying’ to play out from the back and everyone (recently even the twats who inspired everyone) are f**king terrible at it.

I'd give my right arm for Hoddle/Gullit/Vialli era gung ho attacking football. If we’re going to be fighting for 5th every year, we might as well do it with entertaining football.

Er maybe because its a stonewaller,Oliver is blind if he didnt see it, mind you the same ref who decided Palmers shot from a freekick hit the out stretched hand in the wall in the penalty box in the FA cup semi last year and didnt even give us a corner

Careful, that line of reasoning is how Daniel Levy ended up with Postecoglou

Why? How many times does a player follow through after winning the ball and a foul is given? It was no different, remember Arsenal got a penalty against West Ham in November by the same referee when Gabriel headed over but the keeper caught him a fraction later

Yes they are, but everyone else has been sh*te basically giving the league to any team that has been consistent;  they haven't been tested by anyone this season and they have been fairly lucky with injuries and some borderline decisions that other teams have not been given.  While they are so far ahead its near on a certainty that they will go on to win the league, there are still 18 games to go and they will no doubt have a bad patch which really will just reduce the lead by a few points; Arsenal can't get their sh*t together and neither can City or us; Forest are about the only team in form that might have a run at them, but I expect them to drop off in the next half a dozen games or so.

Liverpool are not that strong defensively and they haven't been tested this season ....Utd are proving that at least by sticking 2 goals past them.

If only Levy had thought to have signed Dennis Wise, Frank LeBeouf and Marcel Desailly. And Ruud Gullit of course!

Dennis Wise took Millwall to an FA Cup Final to be fair. Tottenham aren't into that.

And look at that, the attacking sub got an assist within five minutes. Take note Maresca.

You would think that Liverpool would have won tons of PL titles with all that help they supposedly get from everyone, every game, every season..

They may well have done except Pep turned up and Stevie G slipped up 😉
