He did great for the second goal but other than that, I still see a player who is inconsistent and too often takes the easy option. Forest is a good side for him to be at.

 

I'm not gonna pretend that I was upset when we sold Hudson-Odoi, but I think it's fair to say that nobody we have signed to replace him is an upgrade based on what we have seen so far. That's my issue with a lot of Clearlake signings. We have let go of a lot of players, but it's hard to say how many of our new signings are genuine upgrades.

    We've not been converting enough chances for a few seasons.

    It would be good if we could add more goals from set pieces like Arsenal have been doing, last time I looked, we were one of the worst for converting from set pieces. didn't we poach the Brentford set piece coach a while ago ?

    Arsenal will win nothing this year except a participation certificate....not going to win the league or any of the domestic cups....which is about the same as what we will win although we might capture a 2nd rate Euro Trophy..

    It's a shame that hasn't worked out, as we're not exactly flush with available options to move him on to. If he still doesn't fancy a Saudi move for 25/26 then he'll have to join Chilwell on the sidelines, and we'll be paying £525K a week to watch them jogging around Cobham 😞

    Yes he's really kicked on this season.  Didn't think he'd be solid enough defensively at left back but he's doing really well now.

    If they open the Security gate they just might keep on jogging and disappear into the sunset......but as my old Drill Sgt Maj once said...'the world is round they will come back eventually..'
