Two former young CFC full backs making a massive contribution this season; Hall has come on leaps and bounds since he's been under Eddie Howe.

Very good players. Tino is better than Gusto, imo, though he is a fair bit older. Don't think he will ever be as good as pre injury James.

Hall may go on to be better than Cucurella. Newcastle have invested wisely and with patience. Credit to them.

A couple of big IFs but if Forest can keep this form of theirs going and do a Villa, and Newcastle don't lose any key players, I think the highest we will finish this season is 6th, as City will overtake us imo.

I think that is optimistic based on our current form.  We need to go on a decent run just to hang on to 4th ...although I said we'd be 7th at best come February.  We've really messed up our relatively easy Christmas fixtures, 2 from 12 is shocking, I'd hope we would have at least got 8-10 points.  Still there's another half of season yet to go and all teams will go through a slump, we just have to capitalize when the teams around us begin to lose form.   I think teams will work Forest out, despite City's win they really weren't that convincing, Newcastle and Villa I think will offer the biggest threat for a top 6 finish.

don't really understand what happened to Bentancur, just seemed to fall awkwardly

Looked like multiple things happened at once. Look like his body decided to snap him back into place after the header and then he hit his head on the ground.

Tin tack confirmed for Lopetegui ... come on down our Graham LOL.

Now our owners needs to convince him he needs to sign KDH, and Disasi, and Tosin, and Sanchez (we will throw in coach Ben Robert's as part of the deal).

Maybe he would like Chilwell as well.

Is this the unpunished foul the media is going nuts about?

Yup. Slot complains about a second yellow missed leading to a goal. Not a peep about this. Commentators called it at the time. VAR strikes again.

Yep. One of the backroom guys confirmed head-to-ground to Ange. Knocked himself out.
