Yup. Slot complains about a second yellow missed leading to a goal. Not a peep about this. Commentators called it at the time. VAR strikes again.

My impression was a complete conspiracy of silence on Sky's coverage when they played the replay. The ref completely missed it, the commentators seemed to pretend not to see it it, and VAR enforced the Coote clause of not doing anything to upset the Scousers.

Reckon Potter will do ok at West Ham? Bit of a toxic club for managers. They never seem happy.

Typically he will bring his West Ham team to The Bridge on 3rd Feb - that has a bad outcome written all over it.

For f**k's sake, of course Dyche gets the sack the day after I do this.

Anyone got a sofa I can sleep on?

A bit silly sacking him before tonights game, Baines and Coleman in charge until Jose takes over

Weird weird timing for the Dyche sacking. He seemed certain he'd grind out the results to keep Everton up. That said, the sacking has significantly improved the quality of the average premier league game so I won't shed a tear for him.

Guessing there's a manager between jobs they needed to pounce on, one that's got success after success under his managerial belt. Clearly it's going to be a glorious homecoming for Rooney!

Everton in full panic mode. They've been boasting about their defence and results against top teams in recent times, but the improvements of Wolves and Ipswich has them suddenly scared.

I hope they go down, our record at Goodison Park hasn't been great in recent times. They are a pain in the neck to play against.

5 Live radio commentary called it.

The details given by the police make it trivial to figure out who it is.

That said, despite it being a farce, you can still end up in front of a judge if you name him.

Name who?!!!

Uninspiring first game back, followed by an extremely dull press conference. Oh how i dont miss this dullard. I doubt i have ever seen a Chelsea manager achieve so little with such a decent squad. What an utter waster. He should hang his head in shame after that dreadful period im not surprised he has been in hiding for two years. Disgraceful episode at our club. Utterly clueless at elite level.

I haven't checked this, but apparently David Moyes managed 516 games at Everton, and Everton have played 516 games since then. I hope it's true.

It's true.

516 games (2002-2013) -- 217 wins

  • David Moyes = 516

516 games (2013-2025) -- 199 wins

  • 0 + 140 (Roberto Martinez) = 140
  • 140 + 1 (David Unsworth) = 141
  • 141 + 58 (Ronald Koeman) = 199
  • 199 + 8 (David Unsworth) = 207
  • 207 + 26 (Sam Allardyce) = 233
  • 233 + 60 (Marco Silva) = 293
  • 293 + 4 (Duncan Ferguson) = 297
  • 297 + 67 (Carlo Ancelotti) = 364
  • 364 + 22 (Rafael Benitez) = 386
  • 386 + 1 (Duncan Ferguson) = 387
  • 387 + 43 (Frank Lampard) = 430
  • 430 + 85 (Sean Dyche) = 515
  • 515 + 1 (Leighton Baines/Seamus Coleman) = 516

Judges can and do clamp down on anyone posting the name publicly but that article gives enough to narrow it down to a single player.

The player who cant be named was named last year on sky sports and other places, everyone and his dog knows who it is
