Brighton twice, who cannot defend, Saints, Villa and Leicester.

Really would be inexcusable not to win these games. Only Villa are decent.

Oh god, don't say that with our current form.

Maresca simply can't start Sanchez and Jackson in this game. As long as neither start, I'll be happy and slightly confident.

I hope it isn't the case, but I imagine he'll pick the same team that beat them 4-2 earlier in the season, with the enforced change of either Tosin or Chalobah instead of Fofana.

Jorgensen, Nkunku and Guiu would all be in my preferred line up. Nkunku at #10, Palmer on RW. Neto LW.

I'd like to see Tosin/Chalobah partnership in central defence again as well, plus KDH in midfield instead of Fernandez.

Cucurella to offer the width for Nkunku to play in the half space. Enzo to stay deep.

Looks good to me... bring on Jackson for 20 minutes at the end if we don't need a goal 😁

Gotta try and keep our standards up Val my dear. None of those sides I mentioned are much good. 2 are in the relegation zone, one got slapped up by 7 and have shown, in various games, they cannot defend well.

Villa presents a challange for sure, but one I am hopeful we rise to. We need to, we were in direct competition with them for league placement.

Oh yes he can!

Well if he dares to AND we get knocked out of the FA Cup, then the campaign for Maresca Out will officially start....................!

Jorgensen

James Tosin Acheampong Cucu

Moises Enzo

Palmer Nkunku Sancho/Neto

Guiu (if he’s not available just line up with 10 instead of the alternative)

That's the lineup I'd like too, but Trev instead and bring in Neto and Jacko during the second half!

                  Jorgensen
James     Tosin     Big Trev      Cucu
           Caicedo           Enzo
Palmer          Nkunku          Sancho/Neto
                       Guiu

Jackson might not score but he won't give a goal away like Sanchez.

Then there is how much Jim loves him to consider too.

Would like to see Reece inverting into the 10 rather than Marc.

Would like to see the whole fullback inverting into the 10 thing completely killed off  !

Invert to a 6 fine, but Maresca had SO many better options to play as 10's ... like actual 10's LOL

The problem is defensively,if you play Nkunku as lw drifting to 10 and you push your fb very high in the build up, if you lose the ball, it will take him ages to go back.
