"The panellists who review major refereeing decisions unanimously found that Bournemouth's David Brooks was right not to be red carded for clotheslining Chelsea's Marc Cucurella at Stamford Bridge last month."

hahaha

They know how corrupt it all is, if it was impartial why would the panel need to be unanimous?

Have heard this referred to as our "El Classico".

Given how much the ownership love Brightons model, I think is fittings.

Step aside Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham and even dirty Leeds, you've all been usurped by Tony Bloom.... I mean Brighton.

Nico needs to sit out anyway. Even if he is fit he won't be fully fit so I would not start him.

No Guiu means no natural striker. Youth striker Richards not ready. So would like to see Noni be the one to play at of position.

Jorgensen

Gusto

Chalobah

Tosin

Cucurella

Caicedo

KDH

Palmer

Nkunku

Neto

Madueke

Gusto the one to move forward as a proper full back, no midfield inverter. Cucu stays back so Neto on the left. Cannot say I like that but means we get width there and allows Palmer to cut in playing his best role whole Gusto gives width. KDH order to play as a deep 6 to support Caicedo.

See what Noni can do there. Best option we have rather than waste Palmer and play Nkunku where he is completely ineffective.

So our only two strikers, (one of whom is a raw kid and the other hasn’t scored in months) get crocked on transfer deadline day. And our Sporting Directors, in their wisdom, had decided we didn’t need any cover.

I think it’s called karma.

Do you blame the monkeys for following the Organ grinders tune?

Club has a rich history and longstanding tradition of going far in this the world's oldest KO cup comp, cant see that continuing tomorrow tbh 😅

Aye we do. Sadly that recent history has been losing finals lol.

Poor old @Eight Times, if he is even still around, has been waiting 7 long years to change his name.

Must feel more like...

You know I would like to see Acheampong and George get a start here. They both need it and deserve it, imo.

What was that young strikers name that has the dreadlocks and played in Kazakhstan? If Nico is a risk, and Maresca is true to his word about not risking a player to injury for the sake of one game, maybe that kid at least makes the bench.

“Marc unfortunately has a bad injury [...] could be [long-term].

“[We] are still waiting. It doesn’t look a short injury, it looks a long injury. Exactly how long, we don’t know. Probably weeks or months.”

“[Jackson] could be [fit for this weekend]. It also could be a risk but we’ll see. But it doesn’t look a long injury.”

“[...] Yes, absolutely [we have enough cover]. Sometimes we adapt; also Christo there [...] from now on, he can hopefully get some more minutes and help us.”

Nkunku at CF it is then !

Hopefully he shows more than he has so far in his Chelsea career.

I really hope he succeeds and makes a success of things. He's been dogsh*t for us at CF so far but if he gets in the team I'll be rooting for him to have a great match. I think he just needs to keep his chin up and put a shift in.

From his press remarks yesterday it sounds like he might play Palmer up top. If he does, then I hope it works out better than it did last season 🙂
