Was my #1 choice.

I believe the club interviewed him 2 or 3 times too. Seems like he needs everything perfect and “his way” to play his system. Won’t adapt in any sense.

Against Grimsby ffs

I wanted Amorim before we got Maresca, but his inability to change his tactics is absolutely amateur, not being able to veer away from the 3 at the back shows his limitations. At one point he had Dalot at CB and Mount as a wing back.

I do like Amorim- he seems charismatic, honest, likeable. But whatever he’s trying to do, it’s not working. It’s gonna cost him his job.
