We look a bit sh*t at times this season, but we will end the weekend 2nd. Nobody but Arsenal seems to be able to gain any momentum right now, and even they struggle in certain areas (goals from open play)

The league is really competitive, but not because there is an abundance of quality, it's more like the opposite. Not to say these teams are bad, but I'm not seeing teams with an outstanding amount of talent that separates them from the rest of the league. So much of the league is full of teams with players around the same levels. I feel like half the league would challenge for the title if they had one Eden Hazard level player in their team this season.

I think it's a PL that is devoid of any outstanding team (and I include Arsenal in that statement) so the title is there for the taking for someone. Might as well be us, but we'll find out the legitimacy of that next Saturday. Beat Arsenal at home and it's game on ! Gabriel will be a big loss for them in defence in the next few weeks.

I don't think we beat Arsenal, always seems to be a draw at the Bridge and a loss at their place.

Even if we do it's more beating the low block sides and us dropping stupid points like Sunderland, Brentford and Brighton that costs a team a title chance.

I've never seen this account do this for any other club. No mention of Forest's goal being disallowed for what wasn't a handball either.

Its just a ploy to get views . Must be millions of Liverpool fans out there looking for a victim conspiracy to grab hold of ! 😂

Do you guys believe we can challenge Arsenal for this title?

if we've been not robbed, fakdup and ridiculed by FA referes every fakin game I would easly said: anything is possible this season. but our luck with injuries is really out of this planet so the chances are slim at the moment. but mate, I will never stop hoping this is the year. those London Stoke bastards play really dirty uninspiring football and have FA blessings all the way. but maybe the stars finaly aline. league is won when you don't play good but win. those games are crucial. and yes, if our squad next weekn would be complete we could win against Lego Pep

I just don't see it mate. Those 8 points we never , ever should have dropped and were all our own fault vs Brentford, Brighton and Sunderland are already too much damage imo.

As I posted in Marescas thread we still have round one vs Arsenal, City, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Leeds and Everton to go. That looks like a lot more lost points.

Top 4/5 rivals Aston Villa winning. I forgot we still have to play them in round 1. Not the best start to today's two games for us.

Villa were in the bottom three after 5 games, but now, after 6 wins in their last 7, they are 4th.

And their only defeat in the last 7 was to Liverpool. which is the only game that Pool haven't lost in their last 7 LOL.

Strange season 😎

Haha van de Ven is Tottenham's top scorer this season (ahead by two). That's more embarrassing than when Jorginho was our top scorer based purely on his being our penalty-taker.

Hopefully he scores again today. And Spurs keep a clean sheet....
