I can't think of one really good PL team that we've played yet ? ?

Well not so much on paper yet is is their derby match.

They usually win it though. Kind you I guess they usually beat us as well. Bayern may be the only tough game there for them.

Liverpool's Redmen TV and Arsenal fan TV criticising referee decisions in their respective games !

And Arsenal fans absolutely slaughtering Eze in the comments section !!

Been on a really good run, defence has been amazing, top of the league. One draw against and in form team is all it took for them to panic.

Liverpool have conatcted the PGML to complain about thier disallowed goal against Man City,

They will probably will get a public apology now and a month's grace of favourable decisions.

Absolutely ridiculous, it's offside, he ducked under the flight off the ball after contacting with the keeper.

No no, it takes time for players to settle. This was always a rebuilding journey, and will go down in history as the way it should be done.

Oi ! They can't use that excuse, we've got exclusive rights to that one !

Meanwhile Sunderland played 7 of their 14 new summer signings against Arsenal. !!

Ronay on Neymar being a self-indulgent novelty who's outstayed his welcome. Err... wait a minute

Neymar will go down in history as the second-best attacking player in every European team he played for

Semenyo has looked just as good the on LW and RW and can even play upfront, why the hell didn't we go for him over Garnacho and Gittens?

Not that we would have gone in for him anyway, but he signed a contract extension before the window even started which was surprising, but I suspect two things, that one it came with a heavy wage increase and also a hidden release clause that will become available in the summer, otherwise I would not see him agreeing to a contract extension. Either way, we should be all over him for Summer because he is top class.

As I predicted, the inevitable release clause is now revealed, although I was thinking it would come active in the summer. He is with something quite good so if I was Semenyo, I would stick with Bournemouth till summer. Right now though would say Liverpool the best fit for him if being honest.

Heard he is an Arsenal fan but Arsenal would need to sell one of their big stars to sign him for FFP squad cost ratio reasons. He also would be in direct competition with Eze, Martinelli & Trossard on the LW, with Saka nailed on the RW.

Like you said Arsenal are his best bet as he could equally play on the RW as a long term Salah replacement or on the LW as competition for Gakpo. My only issue with Liverpool is I just can’t see the long term vision of the team. There is the Isak/Ekitike conundrum upfront, with some arguing Slot should play both together upfront, or shift the latter to the LW where he has played for France recently. You then have Wirtz who has been brilliant for Germany at LW also, but looks inferior as a “10”.

How many players will YOUR team miss at AFCON?

Sunderland: 7 (Chemesdine Talbi, Simon Adingra, Bertrand Traore, Arthur Masuaka, Reinildo, Noah Sadiki, Habib Diarra

Wolves: 5 (Emmanuel Agbadou, Marshall Munetsi, Tawanda Chirewa, Jackson Tchatchoua, Tolu Arokodare)

Crystal Palace: 1-4 (Ismaila Sarr; potentially Christiantus Uche, Chadi Riad, and Cheick Doucoure)

Nottingham Forest: 1-4 (Ibrahima Sangare; potentially Willy Boly, Ola Aina, Taiwo Awoniyi)

Manchester United: 3 (Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo, Noussair Mazraoui)

Fulham: 3 (Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukueze)

Burnley: 3 (Axel Tuanzebe, Lyle Foster, Hannibal Mejbri)

Everton: 2-3 (Iliman Ndiaye, Idrissa Gueye; potentially Adam Aznou)

Manchester City: 2 (Omar Marmoush, Rayan Ait-Nouri)

Brentford: 2 (Dango Ouattara, Frank Onyeka)

West Ham: 2 (Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Yves Bissouma)

Tottenham: 1-2 (Papa Matar Sarr; potentially Yves Bissouma)

Liverpool: 1 (Mohamed Salah)

Aston Villa: 1 (Evann Guessand)

Brighton: 1 (Carlos Baleba)

Bournemouth: 1 (Amine Adli)

Newcastle: 0-1 (potentially Yoane Wissa)

Arsenal: 0

Chelsea: 0

Leeds United: 0

Great start and goal for Scotland but this Denmark team looks a very good footballing side.. Can't see Scotland holding out tbh.

Took three worldies but that's football, eh? Denmark overall better on the night and they will qualify providing the stuffing hasn't been knocked out of them.

Can't make up my mind about the red, the second card look nailed on and then from a different angle looked like McGinn took a dive.

Yet whatever Scotland took thier chances.

I had forgotten about Tierney too and see he is at Celtic.

Denmark played some very good football on the night , was impressed with their crisp, fast , one touch passing at times in the game.

Its amazing how that scotland game is being whitewashed as some kind of glorious miracle, completely ignoring they were outplayed, going out until one of their players cheated by taking a massive dive and got a players sent of for nothing. the kind of thing their fans would whine and moan about had it happened for England.

I didn't see the whole game but from what I did see they were awful and could hardly string two passes together. I don't remember a more undeserving late victory. Denmark must be absolutely gutted. The dive for the sending off was appalling.
