Biggest game of the season that would probably decide the title and VAR only now decide to get involved and take 5 minutes (clear and obvious???) to make a call while simultaneously ignoring all the grappling by Rice, Gabriel, Trossard and Saliba at the exact same corner. Rice has managed to drag a West Ham player in a bear hug into the goal, but god forbid anyone puts an arm next to the GK.Football is a joke being killed by nerds that weren't good enough to play the sport so need to be the centre of attention regulating it.I honestly don't think they are being corrupt. I think it is more a case of being inept.Modern football, especially the PL, is a mess with corners being the main area which needs addressing urgently. The grappling, jostling, impeding keepers, players going down - there is so much going on it is a complete nightmare to try and ref that. So now the ref gets help from VAR, but then depending who is doing the VAR for that particular game, you get a different interpretation every time, so there will never be consistency.I hate how keepers are over-protected. They need to be stronger and stop going down at the merest contact. But ref's and VAR HAVE to start clamping down on all the holding. I know it's difficult as it is often defender and attacking holding each other, but if a defender clearly has his arms around an attacker when the ball comes in they HAVE to award a penalty EVERY time. If they did that, it would stop straight away. Right now players know they have a fair chance of getting away with it.
May 11May 11 Fark VAR and referees behind it, if that was a fault, 60% of the corners scored this year should be over turned. VAR is already a tool to decide results to suit the 'greater' needs. It's hard to be sympathetic to West Ham, but if they get relegated by a point, should take it to court.

May 11May 11 Least night's decision was a disgrace considering that Arsenal have got away with murder this seasonBut I've always found it hard to believe in a deliberate conspiracy, simply because I can't believe in how it could be organised , and agreed at all levels , especially when you consider that if it was uncovered it would mean long jail sentences for everyone concerned. I mean, what's in it for a ref or VAR to make a decisions in favour of any club? The "Battle of the Bridge" v Spurs we now know that the ref made a corrupt decision not to red card any Spurs player. We know the VAR ref deliberately didn't inform the ref of the Cucu hair pull in a different Spurs game because the ref was a mate and was having a difficult enough time and didn't want to give him any extra pressure. . Both decisions were deliberately corrupt. And I can't believe that even though both refs had retired when they admitted it, that the he PL couldn't have brought criminal charges against them. ( Could they have?)Things like that lead to fans, understandably, be willing to believe in institutional, organised corruption. . I'm willing to be convinced on how it would work though.Cheers everyone.👍 Edited May 11May 11 by The Rising Sun Information

May 11May 11 Udogie is a lucky boy. If Calvert Lewin’s toenail wasn’t offside, Spurs be down to 10 men and a penalty for Leeds
May 11May 11 Richarlison clearly swung his fist into the Leeds player. Refereeing is this league is so poor, you'd think it was fixed

May 11May 11 Hull 1 - Millwall 0. Finally a goal after 160 minutes. Two terrible teams competing to be in the PL.

May 11May 11 Ampadu clearly kicked in the head in the box. Ref misses it. Sent to the monitor. Watches Ampadu kicked in the head 10 times before awarding the penalty. Pffft. 1-1.
May 11May 11 Nice touch by Farke. Shook James Maddison’s hand before he came on in his comeback. Class act.
May 11May 11 Missed a lot of the game, how come there’s 13 mins added on? Edited May 11May 11 by 2211
