Honestly we may as well stick with him if nothing else is changing. We should, but we won’t. Clearlake will need someone to blame to explain to the shareholders why we missed out on Champions League. Dude if the directors are still employed this summer I’m giving up.
March 1Mar 1 I honestly think that if LR read this forum and followed what the fans want, the players would still mess up. This is so bad that its no longer on the manager and thats a huge problem. It starts from the top. All comes down to the Sporting Directors for building such a sh*t squad if the expectation is major honours.
March 1Mar 1 He’s got a hell of a job to get top 4 now with the last 3 results. 2/9 points has killed any hope really. I think if we don’t beat Villa on Wednesday, CL is over. Must win.

All good the BlueCo will spin their PR that it is all Marescas fault, and the majority will believe it. Lose to PSG? Wrexham? Yup that's on Maresca too.Proven track record for it. Is Roman's fault we are in a poor financial position, was Tuchels fault for not collaborating, was Potters for being in way over his head, Lamps made out to be a PE teacher, Poch too Spursy, Maresca messing up the season. Some day down the line it will be all Roseniors fault as well. And many will buy what they are selling.

March 2Mar 2 Lose midweek and Blue Co will prepare the way to sacrifice LR. The project must go on, the strategy is fine, trust the process. Bring in the next lamb to the slaughter. Gary O'Neil probably isnt looking forward to his next job. He knows how it ends, we all do.
March 2Mar 2 Author We need either 8 wins, or 7 wins and 3 draws, to match last seasons 69 points total.

He knew very well since day one that if he goes to Strasbourg then he will automatically be the first in line to manage Chelsea next. And soon. And took the opportunity with both hands.Imagine Rosenior gets the boot at the end of the season and after all these years of us being fed with this idea of a project that is going to finally kickstart in Clearlake's 4th or 5th season and then we end up with Gary O'Neil as a manager at the start of a season that supposedly was meant to be the first one we were going to challenge for major trophies...Depressing. The stuff of nightmares.
March 2Mar 2 Not going to blame him as the players let him down yesterday big time. This arensal team is rubbish

This arensal team is rubbishI'd blame him for having Sanchez trying to play out from the back when it has been proved time and time again that it's his biggest weakness. It's obviously a coaching directive. It piles unnecessary pressure on Sanchez, his nerves yesterday were palpable from the outset and it cost him and us.
March 2Mar 2 I feel there's a good manager in LR, he may surprise a few people, given a chance. The problem is, just like with Maresca, in the current setup he's just a figurehead who has little to no say on how the club is run and how the squad is built. The whole structure is rotten. The players know that the manager, whoever he may be, has no real power, so why should they give a sh*t. The manager knows he has to deal with whatever he's been given and those who assembled this pile of dogsh*te in the first place will just point a finger at him at an opportune moment and replace him with another scapegoat. Those at the very top are playing their own game that has everything to do with some financial schemes and f**k all to do with the actual football, so they don't give a sh*t about what happens on the pitch and even less about what supporters think. Some absolute howlers from a young Sanchez in here ! I particularly like the one where he tries to dribble past Ivan Toney on his own goal line.

He has seen, first hand, numerous times, that Sanchez cannot play out. That it's a recipe for chaos at the back. More importantly, that his nervous uncertainty seriously undermines the rest of his game.

March 2Mar 2 I’m very positive, I’m positive we need a change of direction from SD - manager.Where they work together for the benefit of the first team now while always thinking about the future of the club. It’s not really that hard really.

Rosenior said a couple days ago that he hasn't really had the time yet to implement his ideas. Yesterday was the first time i've seen Sanchez play as this auxiliary 3rd CB where he had the 2nd most touches on the pitch the first half. If this is "Rosenior's football" as the GK playing as a sweeper was a common theme at Strasbourg, then even if Rosenior stays next season I am fearful.

He’s another over complicated coach with inverted full backs and sweeper keeper etc.I wanted us to do what Utd have done. Got in JT. Let him have a few months at it with different ideas. Simple things like playing players in their best positions, regularly, simple fast paced attacking football. No messing about at the back etc etc.I looked at the team selected and thought what more can LR do with our squad but he has to get them playing to their strengths not his system.

We'd do well to get 65 points. Hard to know how many points will be needed for 5th place finish. Our best hope would be to reel in Villa, but that really needs to start with us winning there this week.
March 2Mar 2 £2.5bn and we are going backwards. Least Clearlake can't gaslight us again that "the club is making progress". The late/spring summer BlueCo PR will be ripping into Maresca. Just you watch.

It also cussed Sanchez to be a bag of nerves all game because of this.
March 2Mar 2 Just now, El regreso said:I just can’t.I think Dermot Gallagher claimed today that this should have been ruled as a penalty by VAR.While this is a clear error from refs/VAR, didn't we score from the resulting corner? So it unlikely affected the overall score.
