This is just weird...

I am not fully bought into the popular (here) narrative of "they only care about money and are trying to gut my club - that's why they spent a gazzion quid and are overpaying for every useless youngster". It doesn't quite feel like this theory fully adds up.

But whatever are their evil, cynical, money-motivated reasons - surely it pays to have a team that reliably gets into CL? It improves player value, if nothing else. Surely there's an experienced coach out there that will be agreeable enough and will comply with a general arrangement of "your goal each season is 3rd spot, you get a decent - if unspectacular - team to achieve this". A kind of a Villa/Emery - but with a side-business of weird mass player-trading.

Why are they hiring these obviously inadequate managers?

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity,

I think there's some desire to uncover some plot to gut the club, or to asset strip it, because the idea that this is BlueCo trying their best to run a successful football club is too galling.

We need to stop being nice, but not asking for them to change direction. They need to go, and we need to force them out. Fans need to stop going to games. If they continue to line their pockets, then the fans are f**king idiots and don't care.

It’s hard mate, I have boycotted for a while but I have lived the footballing dream. Seen my team go from also rans to world champions. My boys have my tickets now and I ain’t paying for nobody to go. I quite like them feeling it. Glory hunting little bastards weren’t their fault they was born when we were good.

We need to hang on to the real fans who still have seats not ask those to boycott otherwise it’s tourist central and no one who gives a sh*t will be at the bridge.

Compares himself to Pep and Klopp then talks about having spent the last week having detailed conversations about the squad's future 🤣🤣🤣

How about you focus on winning the games first then having the "talks" on 1st June

This baffled me because both came with great pedigree he’s comes with nothing but respect the ball f**king nonsense

However which way we finish this season, there is one match Rosenior must win. Depending on the circumstances prevailing at the time, all of his shortcomings could be ignored if he pulls this one off. That is the match penciled in on the fixture list for 18 May, the penultimate league match of the season. Potentially, fates could be sealed and coffins could be nailed.

It’s utterly amazing that the board place NO value on experience - none in the board, SD’s, coaching staff or players.

They have basically turned a club that has exited for almost 200 years into a start up

If we lose at home Spurs and they stay up because of it... Some things in life are just unforgiveable

Any manager should be sacked on the spot for losing at home to Tottenham, regardless of circumstance. It should be a clause in their contract.

Fulham and Palace make a lot of sense.

Palace going from Glasner to Rosenoir would be up there with some of the biggest PL downgrades of all-time.

Bit like us going from Tuchel to Potter.

Who ever they appoint next will automatically be a downgrade to be fair. How Palace landed Glasner without any competition in the first place is actually extraordinary.

I think if Palace want to continue their ambition of remaining competitive for a European place season after season, Rosenior does fit that quite well given what he's done at Strasbourg.

Surely at one point there isn't any downgrade to be found anymore?
