you sound like a very angry little man. Ancelotti can get lost, he never displayed any compassion for club after Christmas and didn't seem too bothered whether he stayed or left. At no point when interviewed about his future did he express any desire to stay instead he would just say its out of his hands. He was also clearly a major Yes man to abromovich persisting with torres for so long. Look at his tactical nightmares choosing to play ferreira at centreback against sunderland instead of giving Bruma, a natural centre back a chance or starting torres against liverpool. He wasn't up to scratch and now hes gone. End Of.
Be nice if you could actually get our owners name right. Chelsea fan? Really?

I hate comments like yours, we were very lukcy and only won the FA cup but 1 goal and only won the league by 1 point. f**k you you daft c**t. Why on earth does that matter we win the league and the Fa cup for the first time in the clubs history and as a chelsea supporter your still not satisfied with the manager. The one point was all that was needed, last season we played really welll. Even broke the f**king record for most goals ever scored.
You sound like a glory hunting c**t.

Don't hold back, Mike, tell him what you really think ;)  :D

Your the one who sounds angry........Carlo won the double in his first season with a so called ageing squad, job well done. He was told to trim the squd and the wage bill which he done and was told to promote youth, many of the youth players had a few games but not nearly enough but who thought young josh would play in 20 games and emerge as a future star??? not many. So i and alot of other people on this site saw this as a building season and i for one was happy for this to happen if the youth got a chance but with so much pressure on a chelsea manager how can we promote youth?  The manager job at chelsea is turning out impossible we were unlucky with a lot of injuries this season and a bit of bad luck the fact we never get a penno lol.

cheers CARLO i for one liked you and thought you deserved a fair crack at building your own team.

I agree!

Carlo has every right to be pissed off with the manner in which he was dismissed. He was denied the meeting he expected with the hierarchy but instead was given his marching orders, by Roman's lackey Gourlay, barely an hour after the last game of the season.

Carlo always conducted himself in a gentlemany manner, never a disparaging rermark about the opposition, never complained about his working conditions, nor about Ray Wilkins dismissal midway through Carlo's second season, nor about an overly zealous owner breathing down his neck. Nothing is good enough for Roman but eventually he will discover that there are not many top echelon managers left who will work for him. We are getting to a point where this insane short term philosophy of Roman renders the job unacceptable at least for top calibre managers.

Hang on, do we know this for a fact yet? We have heard it from the media but thats it. Theres nothing from the club, Carlo or anything official in this. I would rather wait until we know the truth before condemning the club.

Fsssss, Carlo probably already knew that he was going long before that so i don't think it was a surprise to him by any means. His all demeanor gave the impression that he knew he was out for the chop although he probably was keeping a little bit of hope for the opposite.

Carlo came out last month and stated that if he was to be sacked, he wanted it asap after the last match.... wish granted.

Face it lads, as a man who has been on both sides of the desk, there is no good way to fire someone unless they 100% unequivocally deserve it..........

You can put him out of his misery asap ( I method this prefer) or you can  bait him around as if this is somehow a better way...

Carlo knew this was a very likely out come..... would it of been better for him to have this hang over his head for many days?  Even for the coach ride?  That would be cruel IMO, when you already know the course of action to be taken.

While it might of been "classier" for Roman to fly in and do i personally, letting Carlo know asap is best for him and the club.  After all, how can either prepare for the future until they know their paths to it?

Sorry for the bump, was just reading back through the previous pages (bored).  Got to hand it to you Spiller, whether you are ultimately proven wrong or right this was what you thought and it aint far from the truth.  No-one can accuse you of changing your mind.

Vilas-Boas is a disaster waiting to happen if we sign him this summer. The guy is virtually the same age as Drogba, and Lampard. When push comes to shove a Europa League and Portuguese title aren't going to give him the level of respect needed to handle a Drogba or Anelka, especially when things start to go wrong and we have another one of our winter slumps. He hasn't done enough yet.

The difference with Mourinho is that he went the next step. He won a Champions League. That gives you serious credentials and respect because players know just how hard it is to do that. Steve McClaren got to a final of the second tier competition, Roy Hodgson as well. No one is suggesting they have the credentials to be manager here. He may be a great asset at some point. But it's too soon. He hasn't actually managed a game in the Champions League yet, let us see how things go at that level next season, and then look again in the future. For God's sake, this is the hardest place to manage in football, lets not throw him into the lions den just yet.
