Who the f**k is Emenalo

Featured Replies

Whoever the new long-term coach is wants to make it clear that he will come but he wants his own backroom staff and his own people so Emenalo will not be his man and can f**k right off.

I'm so surprised Jose didn't do this when he returned.

Tbf, the man did offer to resign. Roman refused.

Agreed. Guardiola would never put up with this

That's a massive insult to Kenyon. Kenyon did a great job for this club, and was the best in the world at what he did. Emenalo fails on both counts

Not literally... it's a forum in-joke. Back in the day we would generally blame Peter Kenyon for just about everything which went wrong, regardless of whether or not he was actually at fault, and despite the fact that no one really had an earthly clue what goes on behind the scenes.

Yep, Emenalo has inherited the Kenyon tag which was "looks like a c**t so is a c**t and will always be a c**t"!!!

At least Emenalo never looked ecstatic with a Champions League runners-up medal while the rest of us were close to tears...

I think he maybe is a bit of an escape goat on here. The Summer of 2014 when we signs Fabregas and Costa people we're ecstatic. Don't get me wrong I think he failed in this Summers window big time but he's not the reason the likes of Eden Hazard don't give a sh*t.

Escape goat, I like that :-) First smile in this remarkable thread.

May I ask what they are?

He is King Snake .....if he is anywhere near the bench on Saturday I will throw whatever I can from the MHU in the hope it hits him

Ancelotti throw him off the bench and banished him from the training ground because of his consistent interference and incompetence

He instigates off the record chats with first team players and then undermines the manager to the rest of the group

He reports back to the board on player niggles and blows them up to be big issues when they are not

He had a hidden agenda to get Jose sacked from day one (he offered to resign as soon as JM returned ..............nuff said)

He wants to rule the training ground at every level but has absolutely no qualifications or pedigree to do so

He needs to go NOW !!! or we the fans need to remove him from the ground and club

Tell me all these isn't crack theory?

whats that got to do with football? cech is still world class and still had a contract. yes it's selfish but i would still rather have cech here than at goons where he is influencing them. the very fact that JM realise that we need 2 good keepers with the added bonus that cech bleeds blue and has a huge influence in the changing room. and no i don't believe JM is a tyrant just a football realist and i suspect that JM himself knew he had a hard job when no one stepped into those 2 legends shoes!

You are clutching at straws.

Cech is world class hence he does not want to get splinters playing with his helmet on the bench. It's pretty obvious it was not done to undermine but pragmatism.

He had the chance to stay in London and play at a very high level, the club respected the excellent service and rightly made an exception. We also bought a very good number 2 in the summer. In fact I would say very few clubs have a better number two than us. Look at Bayern, Real Madrid etc and I doubt most have even heard of their backup keeper or have the experience of Begovic.

While it was a bit weird I don't think referring to Mourinho as 'the individual' was done in any sort of spiteful way, I get the impression that speech was very carefully written to avoid any legality issues.

Don't know much about what happens behind closed doors but if he's been the main man behind our transfers in recent years then I think he deserves as much praise as criticism. It's easy to focus on the flops - but there's been plenty of success stories in recent years too.

I personally think he's been given a hell of a job - coming out so soon to address the fans was always going to end in a lot of fingers being pointed at him. He was never going to come out of it looking the good guy.

Emenalo hasn't discovered a single good player in 8 years. Not a single one.

The good players that we bought in that time - even my grandmother knew about them.

I really don't get this argument. There most likely isn't a single player we have signed, even before Emenalo, that hasn't been looked at by big clubs. The big clubs have lots of scouts and the chances of a player slipping through that and landing here without others having at least looked at the player is very, very slim.

all of it is first hand facts and you can find the Ancelotti story and resignation offer on the internet

I can agree only with the Carlo and resignation points.

i don't know what he's done to ruffle everyone's feathers, but the interview looked genuine to me and he didn't come across like a "snake" or anything of the sort. he has only come out and been a spokesperson for any issues, hardly enough to warrant a berating and insults like he's been getting from many here.

how is he a "snake" for sitting in the dugout behind the manager and maybe having some dealings in transfers (to which extent is still unclear) because people calling him names but for what reason? any reasoning behind this? fill me in because i've no idea.

Mate next would be the Pope, ISIS, natural disasters etc, we're getting there. Something/someone must be blamed...

I certainly wouldn't blame Emenalo for Jose losing a grip this season as he did. Jose has enough time on his hands now to ponder why is all went so horribly wrong and must accept a fair portion of the blame.

BUT, as I said before, hopefully when the new full-time coach is appointed, he brings with him his own team, who he knows and trusts and we can part company with Emenalo and he can go back to coaching 12 year old girls.

just bury your head in the sand then ....the facts stand up and I bet he will be on the bench and very vocal Saturday ..............
