Hi Wolfie, I can't see Wolves being an easy game for us at the moment though pleased to see Hunt out! Think you're right about City, Aguero, Silva and all the other Chelsea transfer targets seem to be cooking on gas at the mo, as for our season, hopefully AVB will get the support he needs and uses this season to build a team for the future and Josh will be key to that team. As for the players on their way out of the Bridge, you can have Mikel but only if we get a blindfold, a loaded weapon and Hunt!! Good luck after this weekend.

I've said it before but, AVB's salvation could be in bringing the youngsters through this season. expectations are lowered when fans can see without doubt that this is a rebuilding era. Everyone can see the team needs some sort of overhaul and either now or later it has to be done, so maybe write this season off (most have already!) call it a rebuilding season and buy himself some time. Personally I don't buy into all the Hiddink hype, great manager but I don't think he could get the current team to perform the way they did 5 yrs ago.

I think AVB's best chance of survival is to play more youngsters, the expectations decrease when people can see a rebuild in process.

Good post and reply, personally I'd have, 1) used the money we paid in wages for Bogarde for a Stadium pub, 2) recruited any/all ex players as soon as the stadium tour idea was thought of 3) your number 2 4) bought Shearer instead of Sutton 5) kept a safe standing area in SB ( wishful thinking, but so are the other 4)
