As others have said, Joe was a fans favourite when he was here, a golden boy who also supported us from the stands as a lad. We don't know the full story behind his departure and it was disappointing that he ended up at anfield, I try to tell myself that football is just a business these days, an agent infested cesspit where the only loyalty is to obscene pay packets, and that Joe is just part of this lamentable industry and therefore can't really be blamed for anything, but the bottom line is feeling physically ill when I see him in a l'pool shirt.

I agree and disagree, I'm like yourself blue through and through and want us to win everything, however the number of games played throughout the season is great enough and to win everything is the closest thing to impossible, we've been there before, near the business end of the season and in with a shout of all trophies and we've seen the difference between glory and runners up is such a small thing so I would prefer to focus on the bigger picture.

Happy to be out of this competition, fighting on 4 fronts is a tough ask for anyone.

Try as I might I can't find it in me to wish Joe all the best, the closest I get is wishing his new club and his career go into freefall!
