I think we should send him on loan to a championship club who are one of the promotion favourites and look to pass the ball around. That would be the most realistic experience we could give him. Let him get used to playing football on a regular basis and against lesser opponents it would be good for his confidence and possibly that bit more self belief will help the consistency issues

Just starting 3rd season as Chelsea and signed Pato for 13.5 mil. Won the quadruple last year with Aguero and Hazard finishing 1st and 2nd best players in the Champs League.

Just got Luis Suarez at the start of the second season for 6.75 mil. Thought it was great business but his av rating over 5 games is 6.72. This is the lowest in my whole squad. Also have a private chat with Sturridge and tell him to knock the ball past people. When he's learnt this he's awesome. 20 games last season 12 goals and av rating of 7.34

McEachren, Kakuta, Bruma and Van Aanholt all have the ability to be as good as Lampard, Malouda, Terry and A Cole respectively

We really should sign the kid now. Even at 12 million. The alternative is to try and replace Drogba with a more seasoned and very expensive player when Drogba retires and that would be like a tactical nuke to Ancelotti's transfer kitty when Lampard will be retiring soon after. If we get Lukaku now for 12 million now he can develop a partnership with Sturridge in the reserves and the Carling Cup ready to take the mantle from Drogba and Anelka in a few years

How can people not rate Makalele when he was so good they named the holding role after him e.g. the Makalele position

Nice post but I've always thought of commentators and sports journalists as critics and thus they very rarely change their mind when its made up on something. Maybe as a new generation of sports experts come in who are young enough to recongnise how cynical the game has become will we get the recognition we deserve. We don't always break teams down with smooth free flowing football but thats because as Arsenal frequently show you can't always short pass your way through 8 men in 2 banks of 4 on the edge of the box. This is where we can be diverse with overlapping fullbacks who look to put the ball on the strikers head or allowing midfielders to shoot from distance.

Just out of interest has anyone figured out how to remove Chelsea's transfer ban on the editor.
