Don't think Drogs will leave January. We need him in the crucial CL games and he still can win CL with us. I hope he's not leaving at all. I don't care if he says he is leaving... He is still with us and will give everything on the pitch. If Drenthe can't cope in LaLiga he won't cope in EPL either. Modric link is probably cooled off already. Anelka is coming just a matter of time. I don't know if VDV want's to even leave HSV or that we are even interested on him, he would just be a player I would love to see in our ranks! Diego from Bremen is another player I wouldn't mind having! He is closest to Zola that I've seen in a long time. His game is little bit faster(runs faster--Zola thinks faster than anyone in the game) than Zola's but that is required these days..

I think we are going to get Anelka it is just a matter of time.. Hope Bolton don't go totally greedy which they could. As I said it somewhere before I don't think they will survive in the prem without Anelka so they will up the price as much as they possibly can... I bet teams just love to do business with us. Naah, you are just upset on what he said about chelsea being a no-brainer . Get over it and hope he comes back better than ever . He's a great player and I think he wont quit if Didi leaves. He managed to be the best in France without Didi so I think he's a big boy and makes his own decisions.

I wouldn't sell Anelka cheap if I was in Bolton. If their only hope of surviving in the prem is leaving their hope will fade.. If Anelka goes I'm putting my money on Bolton to play in the championship next season...Soo I'm guessing they wont let him go cheap..

The problem is we want to keep him! Why sell on of the best players in the world? He's been whining from the first day he got here so why would he instantly stop it. I'm guessing Didier don't do really well in interviews and that he has a bit of an ego but that is what superstars are in many cases.

And the refs and linesmen are usually crap. I remember watching the last ACN and thinking that compared to the cretins at the ACN the refs in Premier League is top class Still, the games are usually fun to watch. I remember that it was in ACN that I first saw Mikel and was impressed by him. I really started to think Drogba is worth all that money we paid for him when I saw him play for Ivory Coast in the ACN 2006. He really showed what a great leader he is.

I agree to the fact that Roman should just be the finance man, but if he buys a football club I think it is okay he has a say into other things as well. We just need to live with that. In Finland we have sort of a same situation with one of our biggest hockey clubs. A wealthy man bought it and saved it and turned it into a great business. His only problem was that he thought he knew best how ice hockey should be played and sometimes he fired coaches from his cabinet and told all the experts how the titles are won etc... It is great for the media, it creates drama etc... Something that us fans dont always want...

We need premier league proven players now! In the summer we could lure Villa and co. I really think we should buy at least Anelka to be sure not to buy some guy who will be walking outside the Bridge with English for Dummies book in his hands. Alves should be okay since he's got compatriots in Alex and Belletti. We still are realistically in the race for the title and I don't think we should risk it. Then again the title is in our hands only if we really can improve, so somekind of risk might be in place...

I don't see Kalou as a ronaldo-like superstar who is loved by the crowd. He will never be that since he seems to be quiet and humble guy. His skills on the pitch will improve and I think he will be regular starter for us at least. He will be 15-20 goal man for us and really important. Psychologially he will not be a Ronaldo-type figure. I think C.R. is mentally really strong and really cool when needed(portugal-england penalties..).

Ghana's last group game is 28th of january Nigeria's and I-coast's last is 29th of january So some of our guys could be back as soon as the Reading game on 30th. I'm just afraid that all of them will progress to late stages of that tournament. BTW 21st of january is Nigeria-Ivory Coast so tune in to Eurosport(I think they will cover it). I think it is nice to watch ACN since most of the teams are really attacking minded teams. There are lots of defensive errors!

..as will all our African players. We can't emphasise too much how we need Drogs and Essien but no one seems to notice Salomon. He have scored in both of our last games in crucial time and his contribution has been good otherwise also. He isn't everyone's favorite, me included, but we will be missing his goals and his runs on the left flank during that time. We just have to hope our january signings are up to the task and if Malouda gets well he will show us what he is made of.

We have great penalty takers! Sheva can really smash the ball into the net aswell. I bet Alex can do it also. His finish against Villa was superb.

50mill sounds really good, but if we splash out that much we have to expect some of our beloved players to leave as well. Well to be totally honest I think Cole and Bridge are really close to eachother skillwise. Maybe Cole makes that angry face also to Avram and not just the refs to be picked over Bridge .
