Yeah, it really looks like Ballack is settled to the game and in England generally. Maybe we will get more out of Lampard with Ballack on the pitch during the ACN if Lamps is back from his injury.. Wouldn't hurt Lamps to face some competition on the midfield.

I prefer Guddy over Pizarro anyday, but many people don't see the good of Pizarros style. He isn't that slow. He is not the the kind of player that runs fast with the ball, he prefers to look first and pass then, just like Essien and Mikel. He isn't like SWP or Bridge who never watch where they are passing the ball after a speedy run. I just hate it when they think their work is done after they have passed a defender just to kick the ball to the stands. Such a waste! Ok, Pizza haven't scored since that Bham game which should be his number one job, but I like his style anyway. Yes, that is actually what I've always thought aswell, but after seeing him score 4 past reading I don't think he is just a shadow of Ibra. Ibra has more talent for sure...He can score goals out of nothing.

Berbatov has revealed he want's to win trophies since he is 27 and all. He's not going to win major trophies with whitehartlane.. In that case he should go to Manu which I think he will, but would be nice to have him at SB as well. I think the probability of him staying at Tw*ttenham is 10%, him going to ManU 65%, him coming to Chelsea somewhere near 15% and 10% somewhere else. In Chelsea he could win some trophies this year though EPL is an outside chance. He wouldn't have to move to Manchester which is probably on the plus side. What do you think of him now? Can he replace Lamps and lead us to some good results in the other half of the season? I think it was a bald move from Avram to give him the captains armband against Newcastle, but it just shows how concentrated he is at the moment.

He showed what he can do against Villa the other day. He has one of the best strikes in the world, still. He just needs someone that can create space for him. Our wingers certainly wont do it as we have seen. He is as leathal as Lamps with his right foot, but he doesn't fit our formation. It is really bad for him to pick up an injury now as his confidence is probably highest with us to this date. Hope he is back soon...to be paired up with Anelka or some other good striker we are going to buy. If we are to change formation to 4-4-2 with supporting wingers Sheva just might prove to be the missing link to glory (CL, EPL?). Otherwise he is useless with us.

I wouldn't sell Mikel even if he didn't learn to control his head. He is only going to get better and I bet there isn't many coaches that wouldn't love to have Mikel. I think he is going to be one of the leading players in EPL in the future. Hope he stays fit!

I think Grant wasnt a man with a plan when he took over. I dont think he even had any vision how his chelsea looks like. He just took over and watched how it will develop. Well we got into winning and he saw how nice it is to win and his confidence grew. He told he is going to entertain but we havent really seen it since ManCity. I hope he is going to chance things and that he has a vision and his future purchases will back thoses visions!

I prefer Pizarro over Sheva at this moment. With Pizarro we can play similarly when we play with Drogs. With Sheva we need to change so much that I dont think we can afford to practice it in important games. Pizarro looks to be in good form and it is just matter of time when he starts to score. He was very good against Valencia IMO. Cool, sharp and in control. We should really give freekicks to Sheva and Ballack since Lamps tries always to shoot the ball with power and lately, by lately I mean the last two years, he's not been delivering.

What is the deal here? Everyone seem to be really positive about Ballack at the moment.. Just after he picked his injury people were crucifying him. Now he is supposed to save us. I think Ballack looked okay against Lpool and he just might start. Kalou is on a really good form at the moment and he should start. What about Malouda? Is he close to match fitness?

A little bit of redundancy here? French players are usually smart. That is what I like about them. I mean they play smart football. They don't (usually) play with their eyes closed running down the flank and crossing the ball their eyes closed. That is something we dont see from SWP, Bridge, Sinclair...I think that is an element that makes Arse play successfully year after year...

From what I've seen and heard he is really good. He plays as an shadow striker for Hamburg, just behind the strikers. He has a great freekick and a thunderous shot. I dont think Lampard comes useless if we'd get him. I think he competes more with J.Cole than Lamps.

I claimed yesterday during the second half that Sheva is totally useless. And just minutes after that he scored . He has all the skill to score outside or inside the box, but as blizeH said he don't enjoy the service. Our wingers should get the ball earlier to Sheva. They usually hold the ball too long and Sheva is easily crowded in the box. Sheva needs the ball to his feet when he is making his run and not a long airball 2 seconds too late. I don't understand why we don't play Pizza-Sheva in front Pizza being the target man. Have we even tried that? essien-mikel-lampard joey pizarro-sheva ..hope sheva starts to produce soon!

I didn't think Crouch had it in him...Maybe Mikel brings it out. I think it is safe to say that Sheva is totally useless. He misses all the headballs, he runs when he should stop and play 1-2 and most of the time he is nowhere to be seen. Carvalho and Essien are solid steel!

I totally agree. We could play(during the ANC). Ballack-Maka-Lamps Joey Pizza-Anelka or Maka-Lamps SWP Malouda Sheva-Anelka In the red formation Pizza is the target man and in the blue formation wings(swp and florent) provide the balls to sheva and anelka.
