Mikel does his role in the team well and has noticeably improved, although I still worry when he is hassled infront of our area as he can be prone to losing the ball instead of just getting rid

He won't be a big miss but I still dont understand why the club would sell a strong squad player, especially as he is happy to not always start ( I presume) and is also a disciplined player who does a job well. We don't need the money.

I put him directly at fault for the goal and near goal conceded today; for the first one instead of punting the ball up the pitch he decided to lose it and make no effort at getting back to defend, then he watches as Carroll gets in a free header behind him! This is not exactly the first time it has ever happened and he is completely suspect to say the least!

Although I dont think we should move from the Bridge just yet I do think a new stadium with some of the current power station features would look awesome and would be a daunting place to come to! Yes he is a Legend and gives everything for the club all the time.. but he f**ked up big time there! He let himself down obviously but he risked losing it all for his team mates too. He should be very thankful they managed to pull it off without him

I voted for the beast that is Didier but I also think Mata was class today, he ran the game at time and always looked deadly in possession, plus his two assists and dubious goal!

I hope we keep hold of him as he has genuine promise as well as versatility. Especially as he can play as a winger which the rest of our team seem unable to do!

Sorry to be the pessimist here but the way we've playing over the last few games I can see us losing on Sunday, getting knocked out by Barcelona and losing to Arsenal inbetween! I presume the players heads are all on the Barca games but they need to start playing for the game they're in not the one next week etc.

John Terry is much more than just a good defender for Chelsea.. He is the organiser and a voice of calm while we're under pressure, which against Barcelona, could be a lot of the time! I also believe that the other players feel more certain of themselves when he is playing because of his presence. I think we will need him for the FA cup Semi and Barcelona at least.

Reason for me.. David Silva. He has disappeared over the last month or so and with their defence missing Kompany or Lescott now and then it has meant playing sideshow Savic

Respect to Crackhole for taking the time to create an account on a Chelsea forum, just to bore us with "Barca are the best" fanboy attitude. I wouldnt mind if Barca were winning everything as they do, but when they are finding it tough they will resort to anything to win, that involves diving of every form, feigning injury, surrounding the ref etc. Crackhole what are your thoughts on Drogba getting sent off for apparently cutting Valdes in half a few years back when in reality Drogba didnt touch him? There are just too many examples of it over the years
