August 20, 201510 yr Moi, sorry if I've said this before. Have you seen Entre les murs and Etre et avoir? I looked them up on IMDB last night. I think I will enjoy Etre et Avoir, but not sure about Entre les Murs. I hope it's not like that gruesome Sidney Poitier film, "To Sir With Love" where an untrained teacher walks into a class of unruly brats, throws out the text books and has them eating out of his hand in ten minutes, visiting them in their homes etc etc. Easy Peasy! let me know if it is, and I will avoid it. But I'll definitely try to watch Etre et Avoir.

August 20, 201510 yr I liked it. Does go as off the rails as Cabin in the Woods but I liked that it was just a bit weird. I didn't mind it so much just thought it went weird lol I didn't like Cabin in the Woods at all though

August 20, 201510 yr Recent additions: Kick-Ass 2 - Utter bilge, so bad it hurts. The Man from U.N.C.L.E - Really rather good fun, even if it is blatantly a launch pad for a sequel. Edited August 20, 201510 yr by TheFunkeyGibbon
August 20, 201510 yr Me too! I loved David McCallam as Ilya Kuryakin - at about the age of 5 he was one of my first crushes. God made the oysters The oysters made the pearls Ilya does the dirty work Napoleon gets the girls
August 20, 201510 yr Please tell me they are not remaking this? I can't imagine it without David McCallum! He was delectable!

August 20, 201510 yr I really wanna see Man from Uncle Is that a bit like 'the man from Delmonte' but with more explosions and car chases?
August 20, 201510 yr Is that a bit like 'the man from Delmonte' but with more explosions and car chases? I dunno haha it's a remake of some old TV show
August 20, 201510 yr Will go an watch Man from Uncle - it's years since I've been to the pictures - to see how it compares to the TV series. I watched it as a kid.
August 20, 201510 yr My brother had the complete set of Man from UNCLE books. And it has to be in capitals as it's an acronym (United Network Command for Law and Enforcement). How do I remember that sort of thing but not why I went upstairs?

How do I remember that sort of thing but not why I went upstairs? I've been trying to remember what UNCLE stood for. Robert Vaughan and David McCallum were great in the TV series. They must be a good age now. Saw Robert Vaughan in the stage version of 12 Angry Men last year. Wasn't David McCallum in a TV series The Invisible Man in the late seventies or early eighties?
August 20, 201510 yr Recent additions: Kick-Ass 2 - Utter bilge, so bad it hurts. Too true, sadly. I thought it was just bearable until Jim Carrey's character died. After that it was dreadful.

Yeah I loved the Invisible Man - so high tech And Robert Vaughan was fairly recently in the Hustle - looking pretty good for his age. Jim Carrey dies? That's it, never going to watch now. That information just killed any potential interest from me. Whereas for me that might make me want to watch it!
August 20, 201510 yr Jim Carrey dies? That's it, never going to watch now. That information just killed any potential interest from me. Damn. Sorry...my mistake :-( (He's only in the film for about 5 mins too...)
August 20, 201510 yr I thought the 1st Kickass was one of the worst films I've ever seen so I can't even comprehend how bad the sequel must be. I've got a trip down to London next weekend so I'm putting Mad Max on my tablet. Any other good actiony-type films anyone can recommend? Tempted to try Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
August 20, 201510 yr Has anyone seen Get Hard out of interest? That is amazing film in my opinion, if you like that type of humour.
