Posted May 4, 201114 yr I attended the Sp*rs match last Saturday in Millenium Suite 8. This is the best situated suite in the ground as you will see from the photo below. Roman's suite is the second one along. Unfortunately he wasn't at the match as I had hoped to have my photo taken with him somewhere in the frame. Jamie Redknapp wasn't much of a consolation except for his expression when we scored. I also had the pleasure of witnessing Mikel's fourth good game for us since he came. But Lampard's marshalling of our midfield when we decided to press in the second half was the highlight for me. We have no plan when Torres plays, not his fault, so hopefully he will not start next Sunday. May 4, 201114 yr Jealous much!! Nice one Liam, I've sat in the player's box (well, where the players and their family's sit after the game) a couple of times with my dad, fantastic experience. Won both times of course - which is the main thing!! I had Terry Venables next to me... And do you know the story of my conversation with Lamps' (now ex) girlfriend? ;) What was in the gift bags and did you nab one for me? :)
May 4, 201114 yr Great pics Liam, hope you had a great time. Agree about Lamps. - he was my motm on Sat too.

The tragedy is that there were 8 of us in total in a box that seats 24. Obviously we Shedenders could have happily filled those spaces. The gift was a Chelsea Cup/Flask, you know the type where you can keep your coffee hot for the tube journey. I already had one and would be delighted to send it to you if you pm me your postal address.
May 4, 201114 yr Aww Liam aren't you a sweetie, I would dearly love that, what a generous man you are... getting a bit emotional here . I will PM you my address - but I insist I at least pay for the P&P - perhaps a Paypal transaction?

Thanks for the offer Gem but you've paid for it many times over with your brilliant picture posts' the time you put into the site, and especially for the irony smilie! I'll post if off tomorow.
May 4, 201114 yr Seeing as Gem is getting the flask, can you send me the hostess? ;) EDIT: Great pics by the way. Looks like you had a great day. Edited May 4, 201114 yr by Scooby Blue
May 4, 201114 yr Anyone else confess to looking at Liam and the hostess and thinking "oh God, it's Star all over again" ?
May 5, 201114 yr Don't let him fool you folks, Liam doesn't really own a shirt. Nice one mate - sounds like an unforgettable day.
May 5, 201114 yr hahaha that team sheet looks like a menu..... tho a dish of Gomes sounds tasty.... if you can manage to keep it on the plate that is!
May 5, 201114 yr In the second photo, look at all the wires sticking out below the wall mounted flat screen. Kinda ghetto if you ask me. Kidding aside, that looks awesome. I had always wondered where Roman is at when they show him during matches. Edited May 5, 201114 yr by BigIzz

Excuse me, but may I hijack both your kind gestures in regards o the shipping? See I would be honored if I could provide you with an account # to pay for the shipping via FedEx..... I am unable to conveniently donate to the running if this site, but as Gem contributes her expertise/time to this site I would feel as if I am somewhat contributing. Plus, you get FedEx service! PM me if you are interested!... I hope I dont get Loz pm'ing me with requests for some 50kg package from Susses to India! :P and sorry I just saw those posts, I realise they are a day old now and thus my offer may of come too late! May 5, 201114 yr All very nice and dandy, Liam, but could you do your regular hoi polloi thing like singing and swearing? What idiot invited you? And could you FedEx your brothers to me, you can use Barry's account.
May 5, 201114 yr Come on Liam, be honest. It wasn't as good as sitting with me was it?!! I knew you'd agree about Mikel playing well. Not a coincidence that our upturn in fortunes has been since he came back in to the side. Glad you had a good time, although you could have made more of an effort with those trousers!
May 5, 201114 yr Glad you had a good time, although you could have made more of an effort with those trousers! And the shoes. And at least put both your feet of the floor! No wonder the hostess didn't snog you behind the bar.
May 5, 201114 yr Author And the shoes. And at least put both your feet of the floor! No wonder the hostess didn't snog you behind the bar. There's no doubt that sartorial elegance isn't one of my many strong points. As for snogging I was fighting her off all day. I think she must have thought I was rich. Barry - very kind of you mate. You do know a courier to London would cost about €80! No problem anyway as I've posted it.
May 5, 201114 yr Looks fantastic mate, I was lucky enough to grab a last min package for the Wigan game at the start of April however it wasn't quite up to scratch with your package. Don't get me wrong, the day was fantastic but the fact that you hade a lovely lady serving & entertaining you between the match makes me very envious!
May 5, 201114 yr Author Itisintheblood89 I should have mentioned there were 4 lovely ladies serving us! Andy honestly my first impression was that it had crossed the line and I was basically looking over the linesman on the same angle as him. Of course we rushed inside to check on the TV as did Jamie in the next box. I should have taken a photo of his face afterwards.
