I know it's not vintage but I love this picture of the bridge. Love that you can see some of the east upper just like you could before the west stand was built

I had some cracking Petar Borota pictures on my wall as a kid.

 

I used to take every Chelsea coloured picture from Shoot ! Tiger and then Roy of The Rovers.

 

Also from any  other comic or magazine of the time and pin them up on my wall.

 

It used to drive my old dear mad.

 

My old man just laughed. After all he was responsible for me becoming a Chelsea fan.

Same in my bedroom mate, have to admit to sneaking a George Best one up there as well though.

I remember buying some of the penants that used to be advertised in Shoot ! magazine back in the late 1970s. Think they cost 35p -40p each or 3 for £1.00.

 

I'd Chelsea, of course, but also the likes of Bayern Munich, Torino,(my favourite Italian club as a kid and even now look for their results) Red Star Belgrade, Ajax, Barcelona etc.

 

Anybody else buy or even remember these. ?

You're right, I've just seen a similar picture dated to the '80's.  Were men still wearing flares and cap sleeve T shirts?

Can't be 77 mate, I remember when the Millwall game that season caused a bit of a stir in the media when we became the first club to charge £1 for admission to the terraces.
