I was at this one in the MHL. Was a big fan of Poyet at the time and remember saying to my mates hes back from injury bet he scores, of course he got the equaliser which seemed to drag the team back into it.

Scored some important goals for us in his time here. Fa Cup Semi Final winner against Newcastle, and the winner in the European Super Cup. Top player as far I'm concerned.

That game v Vicenza was an amazing one. It had drama and excitement and I still get shattered watching the highlights or footage of it. That season was amazing and I agree it was a great Chelsea team.

I remember Hughes was very nonchalant about in all in the post match interview " It's my job, what I'm paid to do" etc.

That era was up there with my favourite times to be a Chelsea fan.

Remember Mark Hughes performance for us v Liverpool at The Bridge in 1997. We won 4-2 after being 2-0 down at half time. Hughes was brilliant. The start of the road to Wembley and winning the FA Cup.

Would be in my top 5 Chelsea games I've attended over the years, remember a minute or so before half time macmanaman missed an easy chance for 3-0, the dramatic come back and in my opinion 45 minutes that changed the history of the club, we went on to win the cup, first proper trophy in 25 plus years, and the Chelsea trophy winning machine started!

O

Remember that Liverpool FA Cup tie because it was live on I think bbc. And I was watching it with my brother in law who was and still is a Liverpool fan. Lets just say I enjoyed the comeback and I do remember that they had a chance to make it 3-0 just before half time. They didn't,thankfully and we came back to win it and the rest is history. The club went on to win the FA Cup and our trophy drought was ended at last.

What an unbelievable game that was. Could of been down 0-3 at the break, then in the second half we dismantled them. Rounds Four and Five were very exciting games. The Leicester game in Round Five was a classic. For sure thought we were going through at 0-2 at Filbert Street. Fair play to Leicester that round, they literally took us all the way. Portsmouth was a beat down, as was the Semi Final at Highbury against Vinnie and the boys. And as for the final, beautiful, simply beautiful. Such a fantastic Cup run. To be honest, we were a top team at the time with some top players. No surprise we won the trophies we won. Such great times.

I went to both those Leicester games.  There was a punch up in their main stand at Filbert Street which went on for a good while.  ( Jimmy Hill mentioned at half time that two groups of men were knocking crap out of each other close to the commentary box)  For the replay Erland Johnsen won us a slightly dodgy penalty late on I remember. Very eventful games those two.

The very fact that that 1996/97 team won the FA Cup will always mean alot to me. Then the following season we won the Cup Winners Cup and League Cup. Awesome two seasons.

Driving home after the win against Liverpool and also driving back from Wembley in 97 are the most proud I've been supporting Chelsea. O and the full members cup final!!!

Two shillings (10p) for a Cup Final Programme. How times have changed. I think a Cup Final programme is about £10 now.

Worth a few bob that programme.

Yes I remember Jimmy hill saying that at half time as well, I didn't go, but my old man and his mate went, and said it went off in Leicester seats, "we all follow the Chelsea over land and sea and Leicester"!!!!!!

Charlie Cooke in our away strip for 1974/75. I think it is early in the season judging by the amount of grass on the pitch. I thought we had worn this as our away strip for a couple of seasons ,but looked it up and we only wore it in 1974/75.

Does anyone else get a Manchester City feel about that kit.

One of my lads has got that retro shirt, looks smart, know what you mean about a city shirt, I could imagine Paul power or Kevin Reeve's wearing it (showing my age there)

My youngest had one for Christmas the other year. He loves it. One stripe looks black on that photo but it's green.

I've just recognised my cousin in the top picture.

Not sure about the sort in hospital. You wouldn't fancy a bed bath off that!
