'Here was the poetry of football and it came with a magical exchange of passes between Hollins,Hutchinson,Osgood and the hard running Cooke. Over came Cooke's perfect chip and there was Osgood infiltrating from the left side to head a magnificent goal.

Yes, some player. Met him about a year before he passed away. Was on the plane to Barcelona for a CL game. Had time to talk to the fans and have photos taken with them. Had a photo taken with him. Sadly I lost it. From the club website:

This paragraph below from that club website link made me chuckle.... You could just imagine the rowdy "lubricated" players causing havoc and chatting up Pans People !.

"Well lubricated to help ease the nerves, the Chelsea players had no problem making themselves at home in the BBC Television Centre, even befriending famous dance troupe Pan’s People before heading back to the King’s Road for a night out."
