I'd replace our blue change socks with yellow in a heartbeat, hate it when we wear them!

 

 

Ive got loads of Chelsea Fanzines ie Chelsea Independant ,Chelsea Red Card and The Chelsea Magazine just sitting in my loft doing nothing would rather they go to a good home on here pity we aint got a buying and selling section of old memerobila BTW this is my favourite section love the pics keep them coming

 

My favourite piece of Chels memorabilia is a Chelsea - Wolves programme signed by Ossie. Far too young to have been at the match, but still special.

Have got a cover signed by Peter Bonetti commemorating our League Cup loss to Stoke...

 

 

And one commemorating the 66th anniversary of our election to the Football League... presumably the World Cup win gives the number 66 some sort of significance. Signed by John Hollins, if I'm not mistaken.

the start of things to come. The game was all ticket, a new saying back in the late 70s early 80's. I was at school and my mum travelled to the bridge to queue up and by two tickets for the benches!!

What a great couple of Chelsea pennants.

 

The Charlie Cooke one is a cracking one.

 

Used to send off for foreign team pennants as a kid. There was an advert in Shoot magazine back in the late 70s. Must  have got about 20 odd foreign teams.

 

I remember a Red Star Belgrade and a Torino for some reason !

 

I also remember they also sold obviously English, Rangers and Celtic and a few national team ones.

Don't remember Goal magazine. Use to get shoot or Match. Remember late 78 started collecting a monthly magazine called football handbook that was really interesting.

Goal magazine merged with Shoot I think in 1975 ish. Might be wrong.

 

Shoot was my favourite, used to get a Shoot Summer Special Magazine which came out in I think June.

 

RichardP: Football Handbook was a small sized weekly magazine that built up into 2 volumes from memory.

 

 There was also a monthly magazine that came out in the autumn of 78 too. Can't remember it's name. It had more historical articles about clubs. Don't know how long it lasted, a year perhaps ?
