March 12, 201610 yr That's a lovely picture. Presumably this is 1930's or thereabouts but the block of flats behind the Shed to the left looks just like the one there now.
March 12, 201610 yr wouldn't mind hair like that and Im only 32 lol. its taking me ages to wash my face lately. ha
March 13, 201610 yr CB:Great pictures, like the painting one. Pretty sure it was from a game v Arsenal in the 1930s. Edited March 13, 201610 yr by erskblue
March 15, 201610 yr 80s Can´t stop looking at this pic - thanks a lot for it, cause it was my time, my club, my shed ...
March 15, 201610 yr great photo off the old bridge....this was around the time my attending the bridge on a regular basis was coming to an end family and the expense of coming down from the north meant my watching the blues live were just a handful of games in the north each season....returned after 20 odd yrs for the cup game against Sc**thorpe 11 yrs ago.. and couldn't believe how the old ground had changed so much.....love the vintage section and the old pics my era of following the cfc.....keep them coming...
March 15, 201610 yr Sometimes when I go to the Bridge now, I just look at the alley thingy leading down to the entrance that I used to queue down to the Shed and picture the old days. It's literally the only place that looks the same now.

March 16, 201610 yr Bovril entrance where they had the coldest toilet in the worldCold toilet? You were lucky! I think there was only one ladies' loo ( and I mean one toilet not one toilet block) and it was the most rank one I have ever seen. Only went in there once and from then on I never went.
March 16, 201610 yr Great pic from the 80's , love it. Can still remember walking up the steps and walking round the back to a defening noise of singing. Crap view and crap when empty. But it was the Real Shed End. Never could understand why we just dont develop that end into one massive stand like Dortmond. A fifty thousand capacity wpuld be ample. On another note when i first started going my brother used to to take me on the north terrace, 78-79 season. Great stuff
March 16, 201610 yr Superb pic of the backside of the shed - I must print this out, its too touching for an old chap like me.
March 16, 201610 yr These old pics of the bridge are getting me to emotional, stop it boys!!! Superb pics
