The Dixons pics are iconic but I do think unless there's new ones of the game then there's no need to keep reposting them or have a seperate thread for them. I knew loads of non Chelsea fans who went as they knew we were going to take vast numbers and take the place over. Quite a few mates of mine at school changed from QPR to Chelsea because they were completely blown away by our away support when they came with us and word got about. For 13 and 14 years old in the late 70's early 80's to be involved in that sort of mayhem was quite exciting like our version of punk.

Someone on Twitter says that some fans used to call the old Northstand the dolls house anyone heard that before ?.

A couple of the guys I go to the games with started going to the Bridge in the mid-sixties. I'll ask them if they've heard of the North Stand being called the dolls house.

Possibly posted before. I know that there have been a few paintings of Bridge but I can't remember the name of the artist. Anyone know?

As This thread has been running for ten years, and newbies join, why not re post pictures ?

No harm is done, after all , I regularly re read old programmes, watch old videos , look at pictures again and again, 

if it's Chelsea, it's worth looking at even if it was posted previously I reckon.
