Picked up Far Cry 6. Seems decent enough. I mean I’m not expecting too much from it with it being a Ubisoft game but seems a decent enough shooter. Must say, doesn’t feel like a Far cry game, more like a Just Cause game!

Like I said! But it’s good fun. The Supremos are insane, Amigos are varied and deadly and Yara itself is actually beautiful.

The gun play could be a bit better, doesn’t fe quite right to me. Also, I know what you mean about it being difficult to go into stealth. You always end up in a shootout.

I found stealth pretty simple 9 times out of 10 after making the simple move of binning off the companion. They end up just getting in the way and pissing me off!

Any Football Manager fans in here?  Been playing the series since Italia Manager 1993 on PC as a friend had that game and we didn't have a home pc.  Once we did though!

Modern FM games are harder to get into as finding the time to play is challenging.  I did just sign Haaland though, so I guess, just one more turn!

I don’t like the newer ones, there’s just so much pointless bollocks involved in it nowadays because they have to offer ‘new features’ every year to justify the new game.

Yeah, a little bloated for sure.  One addition this year is staff meetings - have enough of those M-F as it is.

You got it - favorite new button is "move on".

I tried the latest one, just too much sh*t going on in it. The console version a few years ago had a stripped down version which was much better for someone like me with little time to play anymore

Halo Infinite is the Halo game we have waited for, its absolutely fantastic. I was worried about the open world thing but its great, its pretty much a Halo skyrim mod.

Love Football Manager - unfortunately with 3 kids, work and a wife I haven’t got the time to play it anymore. It’s so addictive.

I'm planning to try that when back in US after visiting family in UK this xmas.  Have that Xbox Game Pass and still haven't tried Forza 5 yet.

I'm just sitting here waiting for Elden Ring.

I bought Flashback and Castlevania Symphony of the Night because they were on sale for about £1.50 each.

Not sure I'll play them but seemed worth picking up for that price.

I'm thinking of doing a new playthrough of Hollow Knight over my Christmas break.

There's 4 months of gaming in them 2 games. Get on em.

Haven't played it for years.

Will always love FM 2006.

FM 2012 was pretty much peak FM for me, everything was just about perfect before it started to get more and more bloated.

FM10. Still play it. Tried 13 and it was sh*te!

It’s taken me a while to get into it but I’m quite enjoying Far Cry 6. I almost gave up on it but I battled through and I’m hooked for now. Appreciate it’s abit copy and repeat but it will do for now until HZD2 and Dying Light come out.

I picked up Guardians of the galaxy and Jurassic World Evolution 2 for Christmas for my kid. He’ll enjoy playing them.

13 was when it all started to go wrong.

I've just been spending my evenings trying to decide what to play; Opening games, closing them again. Browsing my library. Browsing the steam store. Then giving up. I just never know what to play any more.

What are the options?

I just couldn't get into Far cry 6. I love far cry 5 so had high hopes for 6 but was left extremely disappointed.

I’m not keen on the South American vibe, feels like it’s been too much. It’s taken me a while to get into it but I’m finally there. It’s not a masterpiece but a decent blast
