Victor Moses joining Chelsea?

Featured Replies

Agreed, people saying we can do better clearly didn't watch Wigan play much last season - this guy was absolutely incredible for them, I genuinely think he's the closest I've seen to a Drogba replacement (he's very quick, very strong, and very technically gifted - it's rare you get all three but he really has it all) and the fact he seems to play so well on the wing, as well as the lone striker if necessary, shows how versatile he is.

Honestly, this would be an incredible signing, especially if we can get him for just over the £10m we've allegedly bid.

He's actually on 21. Also only 1 year left on his current deal at wigan. I think if thats the situation 10 mill is to high and we could get him for lower.

I think he could be an ideal signing, and certainly fits in with the rest of our transfer dealings so far, going after young and hungry players.

For me he is a big fish in a little pond right now. It makes me think of when we paid a fortune for SWP.

I just dont think he will cut it at our level. thats just my opinion tho.

SWP was bought to be a first team player. I doubt that Moses would be used in the same way. The game is far more about having a squad imo and his wages wouldn't be high.

Apparently our bid was £4m for Moses.

I really hope that isn't true, I know he only has a year on his contract but that is just plain insulting.

For 8m I would take him. Stacks of potential, covers wing and forward, adds depth, young. If it doesn't work out we will still get 5-10m back.

Where does he play?

If it's left wing it's an absolute no.

We have Marin, Mata, De Bruyne, Hazard.

If he plays up front it has to be no.

We have Torres, Sturridge, Lukaku.

The only player amongst that lot we could possibly be looking to sell is Sturridge, because he doesn't appear to be Robbie's favourite.

If we have genuinely bid for Moses that spells curtains for Danny.

I think I've just solved another mystery.

Kdb and lukaku will go on loan. I think Moses can play on either side and up top. Good cover but still doesn't take this team to another level like hulk or modric would.

No, just no. He is had a decent end to the season and people are hyping him up so bad.

If we wanted someone with raw pace and strength and not much else I would rather we kept Lukaku and gave him games. Much younger and can actually finish.
