June 9, 201412 yr Worth enduring the awfulness of last week for that. One of the best episodes of the show.
June 9, 201412 yr They definitely like to leave the action until the end of every season don't they, just in time to make the wait until the next one feel like even longer.
June 9, 201412 yr I'm very curious what will be included in episode 10... I assume they will go back to king's landing
June 9, 201412 yr So much to see in the next episode, I'm pretty pissed that Danerys was in the trailer, hopefully she only has 2 minutes instead of taking up half the episode. Something was meant to happen at the end of that fight, it will be in the next episode instead though, it will probably be the first thing we will see.

June 9, 201412 yr My favorite scene of the last episode was when that Giant shot his arrow & sent that Night's Watchman up in the air & over the wall. Luckily for the Night's Watch, the Giants didn't launch too many arrows. Edited June 9, 201412 yr by robdog
June 9, 201412 yr Where is John Snow off to? Trying to reason w/ Mance about the White Walker threat....My guess anyways
June 9, 201412 yr An hour of combat and tension...and another sad but inevitable death of a loved one
June 9, 201412 yr Author Jon Snow is underrated. One of my fave characters personally. Next week is going to be f**king incredible anyhow.

June 9, 201412 yr Author I have a feeling he's going to have a vital role in the end, so you better start liking him! Edited June 9, 201412 yr by JoeyN

June 10, 201412 yr Author I'm only mad that they killed off Pyp and Grenn. Especially Grenn. Died a hero though.
June 10, 201412 yr John Snow is maybe a bit of a grower? Last night was his best episode I thought. Been bland for me up to now, but that was a decent one. The musical score is the episode was so dark and the scenes as gore as ever.
June 10, 201412 yr Not the best of episodes mostly because the focus was all in one place... Plus the Castle Black story story is probably the weakest. More Dragons and incest next week hopefully.
June 10, 201412 yr It's an area they needed to work on to build the story, I think they have done that well now. There's so much going on that they can't show too much in every episode without it becoming really disjointed.its just like a chapter in a book really, in that it shifts focus to another area entirely for a chapter.
June 10, 201412 yr An hour of combat and tension...and another sad but inevitable death of a loved one Funnily enough made the same mistake as last week's unexpected victim... I agree the Wall is one of the weaker storylines. There aren't enough characters that you care about. At least it wasn't an hour of Bran and Hodor. IMO they could do away with some of these sub-plots and not lose anything. Btw, for those who read the books, is the TV series true to the books or are there a lot of differences? Some unthinking person let slip what happens to a major character and I wonder if it's been ruined for me or there's a chance it will be changed.

It has been fairly true to the books so far. I have read all the books, and knowing what's going to happen only whets my appetite! There is indeed one death that I hope will be altered.
