Why would it matter to Jose when its announced? If the deal is done in terms of fee and wages agreed then surely it wouldnt matter to Jose when the club decide to tell the world.

 

I think when he says announced he would mean confirmed. Makes sense to get everything done as soon as possible.

agree with this. Apologies if this has already been posted, but here's a quote from Mourinho which indicates that there wont be any announcement before the world cup:

Apparently some spanish journo on twitter said it hasnt been announced as Arsenal must be given 7 days notice to activate their clause, they wont... so Friday itll be done
