This is ridiculous. I was away from internet during field work since the Swansea game and i come out to see that Pedro has signed from nowhere (thought he was Man U bound) and scored, Baba Rahman has finally signed, John Stones has handed in a transfer request and Pogba (who I thought had practically agreed to move to Barca next year) is a realistic target. Unbelievable and exciting.

I will be more than happy if Stones signs and that is it. If we get Pogba, start taking us seriously for CL.

Doesn't seem to cause many headlines, seems like a humble guy from what I have seen of him at Juve.

If you want the best players you need to pay top money, I doubt he's on Hazard wages at Juve in any case so hopefully IF something can be sorted out he'd be in that bracket.

Which might or might not have everything or anything to do with any rumoured move for Pogba.

I didn't mind him at all.

He was always good round about these transfer windows.

As much as I'd love to see Pogba in a Chelsea shirt... I just can't see it happening. Had both Vidal and Pirlo stayed at Juventus (or even just Vidal) then he'd be a more realistic target. I just can't see Juve selling him without any replacements and I guess as the longer this saga drags on, the less likely it's going to happen.

Having said all that I really hope I'm wrong and he signs on haha

problem is, our midfield is lacking. this was an area of weakness last year in the champs league when we got bossed by psg in the centre of the field, so we know we need to strengthen yet we aren't linked to anyone but bloody pogba. we seem to be putting all our eggs in one basket in hope of nailing him, so i would hope we have a plan b. don't get me wrong, stones and pedro would be a great transfer window, but adding some steel to midfield would make it a brilliant and smart window. we were linked with witsel and aranguiaz but both are linked to other clubs, so our options are becoming a lot more limited the closer we get to the deadline day.

Unfortunately we get so many alleged ITKs these days that we've all become rather cynical.

sounds like any negotiations that apparently were happening are off and he won't be leaving juventus.
