Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!

Featured Replies

Papers putting two and two together. We are not signing a 60m player..

I think it would be strange if he signed a new contract  with Conte gone and probably for half the wages he would get elsewhere. He has already won Serie A and he won't win CL with Juventus anytime soon. With only two years left on his current contract I think Juventus will be forced to sell him this window, his price will drop to almost half of what it is now next year.

What does is matter if Conte left? They are going to get a new manager...people are wishing too hard for these deals to happen. For me this deal's been dead even before the idea was first announced...

Conte leaving was a massive surprise considering how successful they have been under his leadership.

A manager doesn't just decide to up and leave 2 days into pre-season for no reason.

Considering the good relationship he has with the team, fans etc it's a fair assumption that he and club we in disagreement about something relating to the team.

There's been a lot of rumour about Vidal and/or Pogba leaving and so with Conte going it wouldn't be a massive surprise to see at least one of them go.

That's not to say we're getting Pogba but there's no smoke without fire and and there's definitely a reason for Conte's departure.

If we put 60mill down they would probably sell Pogba to us. As has been suggested here though it does not seem likely we would put down that much on 1 player.

I think they would be tempted by 40-45m. With conte leaving, I doubt pogba will sign a new contract, and this time next year he will be in kroos' situation, and his price will drop dramatically.

I would also imagine they would want to generate funds for the new manager to mold the team to his liking.

Can only see the price dropping if we throw Ramires or Lukaku in to a deal for him.

Juve appear to be taking a hard stance on these players

Juventus won't have much of a choice, unless Pogba signs a new contract.

Give them 40 mil and Ramires.

Pogba would be a huge asset to the midfield.

The stories do suggest that Conte is leaving because they are selling off his top players. Why would he leave otherwise? They just won the league and are in the CL.

That would be daylight robbery

I think we've been very busy this summer to capitalise on City's £50m budget cap. I think we should just finish it off and get Pogba.

Get rid of dead weight and we have a team for the present and future.

They owe us £17m from the Mutu case. Ramires is worth £25m easy. Even if we descount those numbers a bit it should be far less cash plus Ramires. Something lile £25m + Ramires

Though some seem to suggest that he has left as they failed to land Sanchez and Cuadrado

I think Mutu personally owes us. Nothing to do with Juve as the crime was made when he had a contract with us.

Too much is made of Conte's departure FCF. In Italy anything can happen. So Conte's reasoning is we'll lose two players for £90m, I should go. If they are f**ked financially I get it. Are they?

Not going to happen.

Not sure if anyone was listening to Talk Sport at around 5:30 this morning but word out of Italy is that Juventus are desperate to keep Vidal and are prepared to sell Pogba.

Juventus need money. They are currently operating at a loss, their exit at the CL group stages really hurt them. Selling Pogba now will generate the most money for them as he isnt likely to sign a new deal and his value will only depreciate

How can Matic, Fabregas and Pogba all fit in together? Unless Oscar is being discarded I suppose.

Oscar needs a break. He would be mentally shot after the world cup. I don't see him starting for a while. Having quality depth is also critical. I'm sure if Pogba came in Ramires and Mikel would be shown the door.
