Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST

Reading through the comments on their forums and also on Sky, I think the pundits and the Liverpool fans are greatly blinded by their recent success in the league. No one mentions the fact that out of the top teams, only them and Everton didn't have midweek European fixtures over the course of the season - I can't wait to see how will they cope next year to field an all out attack team when they have to play 3 games in two weeks. Surprisingly enough, their good run of form comes when all the competitors around them are either playing FA Cup matches or European matches during the week. Everyone seems to forget that at the start of the season, when they had to deal with the League and FA Cup they were nowhere near our level in the standings.

My mate just put this on facebook

"Open top bus for sale serious offers only....... Please contact Liverpool Football Club, Anfield Road, L4 OTH......."

Brilliant. Lol

Liverpool will be battling for fourth next year. Infact I wouldn't be surprised if Man U were back in next year if they don't end up getting in Europa Leagye.

The time wasting antics from the 2nd minute were a bit laughable though.

Well you countered that by not giving us back possession when we kicked it out when Ba went down injured.

All this talk of us being 'unsporting', when they had Suarez and Sterling diving all over the place, truly cringeworthy cheating tactics.

Thank you for winning and good luck for Wednesday night!

Beat Everton and I'll thank you back

Time wasting jibes now....laughable.

As far as I know the referee adds on the time that is 'wasted' so really it's all pointless and the time was played as in any other game.

Of course though this is just another excuse the scouse bottlers will use as they cannot bring themselves to face the fact their favourite son f**ked them with a slip and Brendan was outclassed, out thought and left red faced by our very own special one.

Bliss, just sheer bliss.

Did anyone else have the feeling that we were eventually going to get screwed by a referree mistake, especially in the last 10 minutes? This game didn't have too much to complain about in terms of game-changing poor calls, but there was a few non-calls on liverpool handballs, and also a few Liverpool corners that shouldn't have been given (especially late). I would have been pretty pissed off if Liverpool scored on one of those corners.

On the handball in the box, I am not going to complain too much. It could have been given, but a non-call is also pretty justifiable there.

Taken from RAWK:

On Jose:

"He is a sad pathetic excuse for a manager. Compare him to Brendan and I'm going all gooey and soft inside thinking that Brendan is ours. Mourinho knows we are building something potentially huge and I for one think he f**king hates it  cool.gif"

On Chelsea:

"I hate Chelsea and everything about them, their c*nt fans, their c*nt captain and their c*nt manager. Their c*nt tactics and their c*nt London media. Their c*nt songs and their c*nt plastic flags.

If (if!) we lose it on GD, to have this game be the one that did it."

They absolutely hate us. Brilliant.

Are you on drugs ?

Legal high just now.

I want them to beat Everton as if not Pool will almost certainly beat palace.

As strange as it sounds I fancy City to choke in one of their last home games like West Ham....they seem a bit suspect at home when the pressure is on.

I did think they would get a penalty late on when a few corners went their way that really should have been goal kicks, I particularly remember the incident when Suarez fell to the ground as Ivan stood about a foot off him and got the foul when he misplaced his pass, made me expect more crucial decisions would be going their way...thankfully not.

We all saw what that was today. Exponential sh*thouse horse sh*t. Martin Atkinson pointing at his watch, adding on more time for the plastics to murder - what a f**king coward. He pulls a card out for it at 92 f**king minutes, when he had to put a stop to it in the first five minutes. Death by football? Death by death. Despicable. Insufferable."

We're Liverpool FC. We don't win things the easy way. Six more points up for grabs and City aren't exactly flawless or choke-proof.

Mourinho's Chelsea will get theirs on Wednesday. Personally hoping it's a last minute Iniesta-like "f**king disgrace" of a goal. That vile anti-football club deserves nothing less.

Well done Martin Atkinson. You had your kecks pulled down in front of 45000 people today and millions mpre on tv. You are a f**king embarrassment.

And any reds on here giving any credit to that vile Portuguese c*nt for any reason...go and support another club because you don't f**king deserve to support this one.

what charming people...absolute delight...must invite them round for tea.

A lot has been said about the Stevie Me 'slip'. What caused the f**king slip, his miss control (non control) of a simple pass. He simply took his eye off the ball and it run under his foot. This was not unlucky it was a pure and simple school boy error. f**king choker.
