We took to Ash like he took to us, best ever PL left back. It's funny to think that A Cole would end up joining us when you look back in 03-04 he was an Arsenal boy but now he's a true blue.

His tears after his last home game for us brought that home I think, yes he's an Arsenal boy and he supported/played for them but look at what he won with us and how much we achieved. What would have been if he wasn't on that goal line against Napoli?

I wish someone would make a compilation of all of his goalline clearances for Chelsea, it would be about four hours long.

Nobody was better at it, most of our success in the last 10 years featured an Ashley Cole goal line clearance. He also handled the best wingers in the world brilliantly. One of his best moments was the time he pointed at Ronaldo and then his pocket :biggrin:

I know was brilliant for us and I truly believe we got his best ears 2009-10 been his best season ever.

Classy player. The Cahsley Cole thing has been blown way out off proportion. Most of us all had pay negotiations in life, and how many of us have turned down the offer and demanded more? Whether it's 80k a year or 80K a week is not the real issue here. We should have offered him another year, assume he's happy to be a squad player.

It is also understood that Crystal Palace, whom Cole played 14 games for during a loan spell in 1999, have officially requested that at least 'one sock' on the statue is red and blue striped as a nod to his time at Selhurst Park.

The cash man was the best bar none, I miss him unbelievably, He was my neighbour in my complex when he was at Arsenal and as a chels player he used to pop in every now and again when he cheated on Cheryl ....now I have Szcz?sny, great...often though of sabotaging him on match day but he is gash anyway so it would be self defeating as is backup was better
