He's not as good going forward as he used to be but he's still very solid defensively and the slow pace in Italy will suit him, plus he's still playing in a top team who are in the Champions League

He will be a good signing wherever he goes, he's still quite capable of playing at the highest level, and if it wasn't for the ridiuclously good form of Azpilicueta last season, he would have still been our first choice LB. 2 year deal sounds about right, I reckon he'll probably call it day after that, or maybe head out to USA for a big pay day.

Be a nice move if he goes Roma, its a great City and I admire that he's willing to try his hand in a foreign culture, not enough British players do.

MLS would have been the easy option but he will still be playing a high level in Italy.
