Whos the better striker - straight up question.

I see the majority of people, pundits etc wax lyrical about Suarez, but when we line up against either of them it's Aguero I am more worried about. For me he punishes the big teams as well as the small. I'd say he doesn't get the recognition Suarez does because of his low profile manner and injury problems

Aguero has 52 goals is 73 starts with 14 sub appearances

Suarez 69 in 107 starts with 3 sub appearances.

I think both out some way out in front in terms of the best strikers in this country and I rue the day we didn't get Sergio but for you guys, taking out the fact Suarez is a bit of a c**t and Aguero is injury prone,,, who is the better of the two... and vote.

As always I've included an other option in case some one thinks there is another worthy candidate

Suarez is the best player to watch when he isn't cheating. His control and dribbling are outstanding.

Aguero is prolific, played over half this season with an injury and scores when it really matters. Also mentally he is a stronger player.

What does Aguero do when the title is slipping away from his side? He cooly jiggles through the box to score one of the most famous goals in English league history. Even this year 1-0 down at Everton he manages to find a turn of pace whilst clearly injured to equalise.

Now let's see Suarez.

Ironically clapping Schwarzer when taking his time to clear the ball, when he could have tried to close him down and put the pressure on us. Or at Palace shaking his head when it got to 3-3 in a sort of 'why am I playing with these mugs' attitude.

Suarez may score more goals from here on out in his career , but Aguero could drag lead a ship sailing against the wind.

Kün for me

When fully fit Aguero but he has injury problems and his form can't get to it's very best because of that.

Today Suarez if by far the best striker in the world.

Aguero when fully fit for me is the most lethal striker in the country, and aside from Messi the best striker in the world.

Problem is he's rarely fit these days, so realistically Suarez, but for the purposes of your vote where you've said to discount the injury problems, Aguero.

Aguero, I loathe Suarez but that doesn't take away my opinion of him as a footballer in general,  he is very talented but he also plays in a side where he is given all the freedom in the world. If you put Suarez in the City team you would see the difference, much more pressure, much more expectancy and if you have a bad game you get benched for another striker the next week.

Not to mention Aguero has been unlucky with injuries this season, for me Aguero is the best striker in the league and he will prove that mark my words. I still don't think we have seen the best of him, I'm just gutted we didn't sign him when we where after him for 2 years.

Our biggest mistake in Romans time at the club was failing to push through our reported interest in Aguero. We would have been unstoppable with Aguero playing off Drogba.

Funny thing about this thread is that not too long ago were in prime positions to sign both these players. The prevailing attitide was that they were far too small to cut it in the Premiership.

For money; Aguero. Not as spectacular as Suarez but deadly against anyone, anywhere.

Suarez is the more complete player but Aguero is the better striker with the better temprament. Either one of them in our team, injury free, and we win the league.

Obviously i'm bias but Aguero is miles ahead of that Cannabalistic rat imo. Suarez has had a prolific season, but Aguero is easily the more complete player. That instinctive goal he scored against yourselves is the kind of thing you never see Suarez even attempt. Watch the movement and finish from the game where he punished Spurs... The effort that hit the post was even better... Sergio is the perfect player (when he's fit) only Ronaldo and Messi are ahead of him imo.

Bias at it's finest

Suarez is a better all round player.

Strongly disagree. Suarez is a brilliant goal scorer and undoubtedly great with the ball at his feet. But Sergio is much better in terms of all around play. his link up play, movement, vision and dribbling are behind only Messi and Ronaldo imo.
