Lets bring him in as our backup striker... he scores goals and we could sign him without any great risk. 

 

I think he would be quite happy to make the small journey between Loftus Road and the Bridge

A proven finisher, can play out wide or through the middle, available at a bargain price, and he would jump at the chance to play for Chelsea. Plus it would annoy Liverpool if he goes on to score plenty of goals for us.

Just read that rumours suggest it was a heart condition that may have meant Liverpool couldn't get insurance cover. Hence they pulled out of the deal. Makes it unlikely we would go in for him, given this background.

Do you guys remember the transfer deadline on 2012? CTV went all the way to midnight and Gigi said to expect some news but nothing came of it in the end. Some Chelsea fans are saying it was Remy, and that the transfer didn't go through because of the same medical problem.

Duncan Castles is claiming that Remy's move to liverpool broke down because of money and not a medical. Believe whichever one you want.
